Come and relax in a comfortable, quiet apartment on a mountainside overlooking historic Peñiscola and the sea. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a sofa bed in the salon allows 6 occupants. Includes 2 terraces with a great view, swimming pool, designated parking located 10 meters from our door, free Wi-Fi, and a BBQ grill in our garden.

The space
The apartment's two private terraces offer a quiet, beautiful view of the surroundings, including the sea, historic Peñiscola, and the castle; a perfect place to eat, drink, read, or relax. The interior of the apartment offers a comfortable retreat after a busy day on the beach or in the old city.

Guest access
Our apartment is one of 8 units in a quiet, intimate complex, which share a small swimming pool. You may also use our BBQ grill, table and chairs located in our garden, one level down from our apartment. Just across the street (the lower part of Avenida Grecia) is a very nice, large public swimming pool, open mid-May through mid-September, with restaurant, bar, tennis courts and game room. To use the big pool costs only 2 Euros per person for the entire day. A few days prior to your arrival, the owner will send you details for how to find and access the apartment, and any other information you request.

A new law in Spain ("Royal Decree 933/2021") requires hosts to report information about the identity of guests (to include name, birthdate, home address, contact information, document number, type, and reference number, etc.). This information will need to be reported to the host by guests preferably as soon as the reservation is booked, but at least a week prior to check-in, to give the host reasonable time to report the information to Spain's Ministry of the Interior.

Please be advised our apartment is not in a tourist resort. It is in a residential community consisting of people who live here year-round, or stay here on a seasonal basis. Our apartment is ideally suited for families or groups who prefer peace and quiet instead of the noisy beach environment, who in return will offer the same peace, respect & tranquility to our neighbors. For this reason, we ask that you review the rules in our House Manual, and treat our neighbors as you would treat your own neighbors. This includes common courtesies such as avoiding loud noises, especially at night, obeying the swimming pool rules (they are posted in the pool area), and parking in the correct location.

IMPORTANT: you must be in agreement with "being a good neighbor" and following the rules as listed in our House Manual, as a condition of our contract if you reserve our apartment for your vacation.

Scenic residential roads wind through the hillside community, which consists of a combination of private homes and small, quaint apartment complexes. The neighborhood, "Las Atalayas," borders the "Parc Natural Serra de I'rte," a mountainous area great for hiking or mountain biking. The park features old castle ruins, a mission, and some very scenic coves ("las calas") which are a perfect place for an afternoon picnic.
