The beautiful apartment and the great position captured me immediately. Giulio has been very helpful and recommended the best way to reach the place from the airport. He even proposed to book for me a taxi at a discounted rate. The apartment is exactly as described, I found it clean, warm and welcoming. Apparently the apartment was just been renovated, so everything was just perfect. The information available on the website helped me a lot in finding my way through this gorgeous city. The area is very quiet and I could reach the St. Peters basilica with a short walk, the city centre was within walk distance too. Because of the weather I used the public transport, which was just perfect for my wanderings. I will definitely return to this apartment, and I warmly recommend it to anyone.
Giulio was very helpful in getting his space booked. He had someone who worked for him attend to the space and prepare it for us.
They were very accommodating considering our plane was late and we had navigation troubles getting there at first. I was very appreciative of their patience. Definitely great at their service.
The place itself has some cons and pros. I will list them here:
1) great location that is close to train and Vatican
2) spacious apartment with dishes enough to cook many things
3) balcony was large and great for breakfast outside
4) place was secure and safe for possessions and location was very quiet
1) the battery's didn't work well. The place was always very cold for this month. This might be outside of their control
2) not really safe for children. There was stains for existing black mold in several rooms and you could see it was coming back. This was extremely prominent in the bathroom
3) walls are paper thin. I can hear the water running and every move a neighbor made.
Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone that doesn't have a young child. The staff was excellent in assisting with information and coordination. Just come with warm clothes for the colder months and you will have a great time
Thank you for the feedback, I'm sorry you found some cons. We really appreciate the feedback as it allows us to improve the experience. We will refurbish the apartment in January, we will thicken the external walls so the apartment will be much warmer, and the mold too will disappear for good.
I hope to welcome you back soon at Casa Maroma.
The apartment was clean and airy. The location was perfect as it was close to the vatican and railroad station. My family and I had a great time!
Great apartment. Nothing bad to say. The location is great, close to the Vatican, bus stops, restaurants, bars, etc. Quiet neighborhood where we felt very comfortable walking at night.
We will recommend it to all our friends that will go to Rome!
We spent a wonderful week at Giulio's apartment. It was really nice, comfortable, clean, and we had everything (and more) that we needed. We enjoyed a lot having lunch at the terrace.
The location is great, in a beautiful residential neighbourhood, only a 10 minutes walk from the Basilica St Pietro. There is a supermarket down the street and a café just a few meters away, our obligatory stop every morning.
Giulio was really helpful and kindly available before and during our stay, giving tips and advice. We had a small issue with the internet which he took care of and fixed right away.
We definitely recommend the apartment and we hope to come back ourselves!
I'm Italian, I'm a software engineer. I have a flat in Rome in a great location, which I can't use because I live in the UK, so I would like everyone to enjoy the place and enjoy the beautiful city of Rome.
The place is really beautiful and I have put the highest care in getting it ready to give the best experience of the city.
