  • The rumors are true: Miriam and Leonard are really lovely people, I couldn't have asked for better hosts. Every breakfast was delicious, I don't think I've eaten so well since I can remember. The house is gorgeous as is the surrounding area. I had my own bathroom with new appliances and shower, my own mini fridge (stocked with deserts when I arrived), and plenty of space to keep my things. I am very lucky to have met them both because this was more than just a bed for me to sleep in, after a while, it felt just like home.

  • I can't imagine a nicer place to stay when visiting Ithaca. We had the graduation weekend package for our son's Cornell graduation, and staying here was so convenient and relaxing. Miriam and Leonard's home is an oasis of peace, comfort, and greenery. Plus amazing breakfasts! Must try: Miriam's shakshuka!!!

  • We had such a wonderful time staying here!!! Miriam and Leonard's house is charming, immaculate, very close to Cornell, and completely surrounded by gorgeous trees! Each morning we'd wake up to a 5-star breakfast. My husband said Miriam's omelet was the best he'd ever tasted! We enjoyed fresh fruit bowls (a perfect blend of fresh and dried fruit), oatmeal, pastries, and spring rolls that were INCREDIBLE! Miriam also makes her own custom tea blend that I highly recommend (it pairs really well with her pastries!) Their Boston Terrier Frodo is quiet, friendly, and very fun to play with. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer, and we will absolutely stay here again!

  • Miriam and Leonard were very warm and welcoming hosts. They generously spent time getting to know us and sharing about their lives. The house was very clean and comfortable, and offered a lot of privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfast and all of the additional baked goods offered to us. We hope to stay with them again during future visits to Cornell. I give them my highest recommendation!

  • Wonderful place to stay in Ithaca! Lovely quiet area, warm and inviting home, and hosts that make you feel welcome as soon as you pull up. Breakfasts and treats are all homemade, and superbly presented; we enjoyed fresh breads, jams, crepes, french toast, and were given many choices for the menu. Good conversations with helpful suggestions and Ithaca guidance, we both really enjoyed getting to know Miriam and Leonard and will definitely plan to go back. And Frodo is a really cute and well behaved puppy to play with.

  • We found hosts Mariam & Leonard, their home, the gourmet breakfasts, and Frodo to be completely as wonderful as all the other reviews said!! What a pleasure to stay with this amazingly kind, respectful, gracious, and hospitable couple. Even though I am personally not crazy about dogs, I enjoyed the extremely well-mannered and delightfully fun Frodo! We look forward to future visits! If this place is not on your wish list, it should be!
