this house is very good.Because the front has been on a trip, just after leaving to tell Jen, and later did not further contact, very sorry
Eyal and Jen's home was so welcoming :) we were very pleased with our two night weekend stay there. Everything was clean, they had left towels out for us, and cute notes with some tips and friendly pointers. The apartment was located a short cheap uber ride away from all the shops and restaurants. I felt like I was staying at a family members home. :) thank you Eyal and Jen!
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Eyal & Jen's place.
From the first message to checking out Eyal was amazing at communication. He responded so quickly and made us feel comfortable and confident about our stay before we got there and also during our stay, including a call asking which number the apartment was when we arrived!
The location is amazing. The street is one of the most picturesque places I have ever stayed and the apartment is also beautiful. Well decorated with loads of room and the king bed was INCREDIBLE. So ridiculously comfortable.
It was about a 20 minute walk to the pier area and while we were there we spent a day walking to the pier then onto Venice beach then back again. It was lovely.
The only annoying parts were that there was no cable TV (as Brits we didn't realise that without cable TV and not just TV, you couldn't watch anything). This was mainly because we didn't realise we wouldn't have it and expected it but it didn't really matter. The other was that sometimes it was hard to find parking. There is a lot of free parking very close by but we were driving around in circles for 10 minutes waiting for someone to leave us a space. Saying that, we always found somewhere very close eventually.
Overall, wonderful location, great hosts and very comfortable. I'd recommend to anyone and would love to stay here again!
Apt is a 2 BR gem.snd a 10 minute walk to the beach and not much further to 3rd street Promenade. One block over fro apt. Ate ships and cafes on Montana street.the neighborhood is beautiful and safe to walk both day andnight.Parking was interesting as we found from neighborhood people that one cannot park in front of the apt building on Fifth street. We found a lot for $14 per day , ten minutes from the apt.I highly recommend staying here.
Thanks, Christine! Whatever you heard about parking is not true! Parking on our street is free. If you read the street signs, you will see that the only time you can't park there is for 2 hours out of the week for street sweeping. Nonetheless, it can be tricky to find a spot in our town, so we provide directions in our manual for other free places to park within 2 blocks of our place. Sorry you didn't find it, but glad you still had a good time! :)
I had a great time in Santa Monica, thanks to Eyal and Jen. They have a lovely place in a perfect location, close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. They accommodated my early arrival and were gracious in ensuring I had everything I needed, i.e. clean sheets and towels. Their home is very welcoming- clean, quiet, and gets great light. I will definitely try to stay at Jen & Eyal's place next time I'm in LA! Thanks!
Eyal and Jen's place was perfect for what we were looking for. A great apartment a short walk to downtown Santa Monica. They were very accommodating and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their place to anyone looking to stay in Santa Monica.
Paradise West was everything that it was advertised to be. Great location, quiet neighborhood and well maintained bnb. I would stay here again if I visit Santa Monica again.
