This beautifully restored gem from the early 1900's is your peaceful and quiet home away from home while in Napa. It's a convenient few blocks walk to downtown where you'll find lots of great restaurants, the Oxbow Market and plenty of shopping.
This 1920's Dutch Colonial home has been restored to it's original grandeur right in the heart of "Old Town" Napa. The block is lined with Redwoods over one hundred feet tall so you'll feel as though you've entered the Muir Woods of Wine Country. As you can see by the pictures, no detail has been overlooked or expense spared in decorating our home. The main guest suite has a queen bed fitted with the same brand of mattress the Queen of England uses. Trust me, a better nights sleep you haven't had; and your bathroom with it's beautiful walk-in glass tiled shower has a heated floor to keep your feet toasty warm during the crisp, cool mornings. There is a second guest suite attached to your bathroom that has a queen pull out sofa bed with a surprisingly comfortable mattress if needed for another couple or the kids, but it's yours to use to have extra space or to use the 30" Samsung Windows 8 computer for Netflix or any other entertainment package you belong to.
A full-on breakfast isn't provided as most people visiting want to walk to some of the great morning meal places in Napa. However, the frig will be stocked with bottled water, juice, milk and fruit, and you are of course encouraged to use the Keurig machine for coffee, tea or hot chocolate. If you buy wine and want to indulge at the house there are more glasses than you could ever use up in a stay.
You are just a five minute walk from all the great restaurants and nightlife that have taken over the city of Napa. Walk to Iron Chef Morimoto's? Check. Walk to award winning Italian restaurant Oenotri? Check. Walk to the Oxbow? (a smaller version of the famed San Francisco Ferry Building) Check. Walk to ABC bakery with their fresh daily Blackberry muffins and Cinnamon Bread? Check. Walk to the Fatted Calf for amazing sandwiches and charcuterie? Check. Walk to the brand new Cinemark Movie Complex? Check.
There is a gym nearby that I could probably get passes for so if you plan on working off the calories you plan on putting on, please let me know in advance of your arrival.
I'm in the wine business and work with a winery as well as being a food and wine nut, so feel free to use me for recommendations for meals and wine tasting.
IMPORTANT! While there are two guests suite, we will never fill the second suite if you're only booking for two people. A two guest booking means you have access to BOTH suites.
We are present during our guests stay but due to many personal and business activities, will be away from the house many evenings.

Greg & Jeff were wonderful hosts. Their house is darling, their dining and entertainment recommendations were right-on, and they're located really well in the heart of Napa. We definitely recommend staying with them!
This is a beautiful house on a beautiful tree lined street in Napa. This meticulously maintained house was very tastefully renovated recently by Jeff, the co-owner of the house. The house is made at a very high standard and more beautiful than the photos I saw on in airbnb website. Greg recommended the great restaurants in Napa and gave us the sample wine tasting route. We followed his advise 100% and our trip turned out perfect.
Greg and Jeff were the consummate hosts! Not only were they welcoming and attentive to my arrival time and ensuring I had proper directions, they also provided wonderful "concierge" service -- dinner reservations, winery tour recommendations and referrals. The room is beautiful and very comfortably appointed. The bed and linens felt luxurious and I had several great nights sleep. The adjoining bathroom -- well I wish had such a beautiful bathroom at home! I was fortunate that the second room was unoccupied and it became my sitting room/dressing room. The lay out of the house is such that I never felt I was imposing on the owners nor were they ever imposing on my privacy. Perfect!
I am embarking on work in the wine industry and Greg's superb knowledge of the industry was a definite plus. all in all it was a wonderful visit -- a little business and a lot of fun!
I booked this room seeking a beautiful room in a great location and the bonus was I made two new friends. Actually three new friends because their pretty Dalmatian Luce was cuddling up to me by the time I left. They were both so generous with their time, good wine and terrific orientation to Napa. I fully expect to be in Napa several more times and this is my new home away from home. But I better book far in advance though, as I have no doubt this will be a very popular destination.
Greg and Jeff were the most wonderful hosts! Their house is gorgeous and they were overly accommodating to us. We look forward to visiting again!
We had a great time in Napa and Jeff was the consummate host. The location is ideal as it is within walking distance from some fantastic dining in downtown Napa. This home is meticulously appointed, comfortable and very clean. I slept better than I normally do at home. Don't hesitate to book with Greg & Jeff.
Me and my Daughters had a very relaxing weekend at the house. It is a beautiful house and the hosts, Greg & Jeff were very friendly and helped us with anything that we needed. Thank you Greg and Jeff. Luche was a friendly dog and we miss her already.
We booked two nights with Greg and Jeff for a weekend getaway. Fabulous home and guest quarters. Greg and Jeff were the most gracious hosts. We felt as is we were staying with friends (albeit friends with exceptional taste!).
We were just minutes drive from the wineries and a 5 min. walk from everything downtown Napa.
We highly recommend breakfast at Alexis Baking Co. - the best Huevos Rancheros ever.
Do yourself a solid and just book with Greg & Jeff!
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay with Greg and Jeff. We were looking for a location that gave us easy access to the wineries and also to downtown. It was all that and more. Even Yountville is a quick drive away. We were able to walk to downtown in 5 minutes for amazing dinners and delicious breakfasts. Both gentlemen were gracious and accomodating while allowing us our own space...and their home is AMAZING. Highly recommended with a second couple to split cost with.
Greg and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home was absolutely stunning! I honesty can't imagine a more beautiful place to stay in the Napa area or more thoughtful, generous hosts!
The home is extremely gorgeous and the hosts were very gracious. This was a wonderful base to reunite with my daughter and her fiance (who live in Paris, France (and we have not see each other in a year and half.)) and visit a few lovely wineries and enjoy good dinners. I live in the Bay Area, and I will definitely return when I need an escape...
Do not pass this up. Do not be afraid to stay in the home with these wonderful gentlemen!
