Conveniently located between Breese, IL and Highland, IL the cabin/loft is a great, central location to wineries (central to Hidden Lake and Copper Docks) and restaurants like Popeye's Chop House, Trenton House, Wally's (best burger around), Powhatan, The Wooden Tie and even near a fun and unique "dive" bar called Tina's Tavern (2 miles).

Also near by is Carlyle Lake (18.7 miles to marina-rent a boat, or go to the bike trail which is 10.3 miles long), Bretz winery-music/outdoor sand volleyball, Breese Excel Bottling Company-stock up on SKI and craft beers, Antiquing-Pocahontas Antiques, Village Square, and Historical Lebanon with unique shops and festivals.
