I'm generally pretty chill so you'll have tons of space but I'm totally open to hang out, cook, drink, chat, whatever you are in the mood for. From time to time I have friends over for dinner and love for guests to join us.
Oh, you must love dogs - there will be one very loving basset hound here to greet you with tail wags and kisses. He is well behaved but loves attention if you want to give it to him. The dog tends to be a food thief however so if you make a sandwich keep it out of his reach :)

Joanna was easy to communicate with for arrival details. Her home is comfortable and convenient as was my room with it's nice closet and adjoining bathroom. I was welcomed to use the kitchen and was offered refrigerator space (that included a gift of local beer!). Coffee was made available each morning. I was pleased in every way with the accommodations provided by my friendly host.
Joanna was welcoming, and Duncan made me feel super welcomed (he was awesome). The bedroom was comfy and inviting. I really loved the private bathroom, super clean and nicely designed/decorated. The location was good, too. I had a great time in Austin, and I think Joanna's home was definitely part of it.
Joanna's place is super comfortable, and Joanna was so helpful in helping me find whatever I needed, from the bus stop to ordering in groceries. Her place is perfect, she is very kind, and her dog is adorable. Highly recommend!
This was my first AirBNB experience, so had no idea what to expect as I was driving to Austin. Within minutes of arriving, however, I felt immediately at home. Joanna was a great hostess and our room was great -- overall, it exceeded my expectations! Would definitely stay here again :)
Joanna was wonderful! And Duncan was the sweetest thing, house was close to lots I caught an incredible show at theStarlight lounge just down the street! Would def go back!
Joanna is a great host - but not as good as Duncan! What a cutie he is! AND greeted me every time I came in. The room is as advertised. Note: the train has a limited service but takes you straight into town which is ultra convenient. Austin: what a lovely city!

About the Host, Joanna
Hey there, I'm Joanna. I'm an interaction designer/yogi/amature chef who is always looking for the next adventure. I've traveled to Brazil, Argentina, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and most of Europe. It still is not enough!! I bought this house last year and love love love it and the neighborhood. The East Side of Austin is so close to downtown, yet no where near as crowded. There are tons of unique restaurants and art galleries. As a host I'm friendly and love to chat with people but I'll definitely give you your space. I believe in the "Mi casa es su casa" rule - you're more than welcome to make yourself comfortable, kick off your shoes, and enjoy yourself.
