Kihei is adjacent to the upscale town of Wailea, featuring world-class luxury resorts, fine dining, and shopping. Both towns are located along the South Maui coast and are popular because of the consistently great weather conditions. The money you save with a Kihei Bay Vista vacation rental versus an expensive Wailea luxury resort can by used towards a variety of Maui activities such as golf, spa, water sports, and more.
A roomy 754 square feet, each unit features all the amenities you would expect and some you wouldn’t – from a fully-equipped kitchen stocked with everything except food, to gas barbecues and a picnic pavilion, to FREE WiFi so you can stay in touch with your friends and loved-ones.

I am always available to be reached via email or phone. We have a Housekeeper on call, additional cleaning could be arranged at a $50 fee, generally our long stay guests take advantage of this service. Our Maintenance crew is on call and can assist at any time.
Check-in and Check-out is very simple. We do not have a Front Desk. What we do is send you a pre-arrival email that has all necessary information on how to get to the condo, what is the electronic lock code, pool code, safe instructions etc. We recommend always printing that email at home prior to the trip or saving it on your smart phone to access it when you arrive to the complex. We have an information binder in the condo with all helpful information that you may need during the stay.
Maui’s unique and varied terrain offers a multitude of activities such as relaxing on some of the world’s most beautiful beaches to the more adventurous ziplining and paragliding.
Kihei Bay Vista vacation rentals are a great home base to set off and explore the beautiful island of Maui. Some of Maui’s top attractions are:
Maalaea Harbor - 6 miles - Many boats leave from Maalaea on snorkeling trips, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, whale watches (in season), sunset cruises, and more. It is much faster to leave from Maalaea Harbor than Lahaina Harbor when taking trips to Molokini Crater and Turtle Town.
Maui Ocean Center - 6 miles from KBV
Shops at Wailea
Wailea Golf Club
King Kamehameha Golf Club
Maui Tropical Plantation
The town of Kihei, Hawaii, is a laid-back beach town offering some of Maui’s best beaches. South Maui is fun for couples and is family-friendly. You can find anything you need in Kihei including restaurants from McDonald’s and local favorites Stella Blue’s and Five Palms to the fine dining of Sarento’s. There are several shopping areas with anchor stores including Safeway supermarket and Long’s Drugs.
Maui’s south side offers calmer ocean conditions than the North Shore making it a great location for swimming, boogie boarding, stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, tide pooling, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, and whale watching (in season).
I always recommend renting a car. We have access to better rates with AVIS and BUDGET, please contact me to assist you with the link on how to book.
There is the Maui Bus that actually has a stop right in front of the complex and also on the other side of the road the opposite direction. I would recommend visiting the Maui County website for transit information, schedules etc.
Viktoria Ujj was wonderful. I traveled to Maui with my two teenage sons. Viktoria responded to my questions in great detail and gave me excellent ideas and suggestions. The condo was clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend!! We hope to be back and stay at Viktoria's place again.
This was an excellent location. The condo was clean, modern, and had all the amenities necessary after a long day of surfing and laying on the beach. Furthermore, the location provided excellent access to nearby beaches and shopping.
The condo was much better than expected. There were beach chairs, coolers and other necessities available and extremely useful. The security lock box codes was very well done. Parking was fine, There was no street noise and it was easy enough to cross the road to walk along the beach. The grill was great and there were some staples in the fridge that made everything easier. The whole place was clean and neat. Nothing was worn and everything was in good condition. We would definitely return to this condo in the future.
Great location being across the road from the beach and central to most of our activities on the Island.
We spent many hours at the pool and hot tub. Very well maintained buildings and grounds, with beautiful gardens and plenty of parking.
We loved it; Maui is the best!
Great location and the place couldn't have been better with the beach right across the street and we got there a little early and Viktoria was accommodating and we ended up having a great time.
Will definitely stay again.
Awesome amenities, spacious apartment. Loved having use of the pool and jacuzzi, and we could always find parking. Everything was clean and we found everything we needed. There is nice, small beach across the road.
Things to be aware of:
1. Make sure to read the welcome packet when you arrive as there are some rules to follow and things to take care of.
2. Not much is within walking distance, so you'll need a car for any outings.
3. The bedroom mattress is very firm.
Awesome value though, i recommend!
Great Condo to live in Maui definitely!
Flare price, nice location, beautiful environment and lots of convenient facilities.
Victoria helped us a lot and answered emails very promptly.
Highly recommend this condo!
This condo was great for us! Had everything we needed so we could pack up for the day and go to the beach. Full kitchen do we could cook and have groceries so we didn't have to eat out all the time. Viktoria was very easy to work with and we were even able to get into the condo early.
We were very, very happy with our stay, everything went very smoothly and this made life easy after months of working hard at home. Viktoria made it easy to relax on our vacation in this lovely, clean condo with all the amenities. The condo looked exactly as described on the site. Easy entry and we really appreciated the cleanliness on arriving, we could always get a parking space at the building, the washer/dryer was great and useful, the condo had spacious comfortable rooms with a comfortable bed, all the appliances worked, good water pressure in shower, air conditioning was fantastic, lanai was nice, beautiful pool and jacuzzi in the courtyard, plants and flowers all round, nice neighbours, calm and quiet area. Viktoria was easy to get a hold of and answered our questions super fast by email. You can call her too but we didn't need to. Strongly recommend this rental to anyone considering it, I found it a lot more relaxing and spacious than a hotel, less expensive, and you can make your own food and bbq in the common area if you get tired of eating out. The beach was directly across the street and easy to access. Its great to rent a car and explore the different towns, we liked the road to Hana, its not as difficult to drive as people describe on the internet if you are a somewhat experienced driver. I really liked the lavender farm in Kula, a beautiful drive and you can see cactuses on the way, sometimes people seem to ignore the interior drives but we found it was amazing! The coastal drives are also great. We like the Pacific Foundation for whale watching and we enjoyed supporting that non-profit organization who educate local kids, undertake environmental initiatives etc. Boss Frog also took us on a great snorkeling trip and the guys were lovely to deal with and friendly. Apparently a good idea is to go to Costco when you first arrive in Kihei as groceries can be expensive in other areas. Also apparently there's fresh fish at Costco but we didn't quite make it there. The fruit is amazing, I loved the fresh pineapple, papaya and trying sour sop an amazing new fruit for me. There's farmers markets and you can buy on side of road as well on way to Hana. Strongly recommend this trip, good for families and people who want to relax, we heard from locals that Honolulu was a lot more crowded and is more bar oriented. The people of Kihei were so lovely and friendly, and we felt very welcome. It took a few days to destress so we didn't plan much in the first 2 days other than going to the beach and touring around a bit, it worked for us ;) Thanks Viktoria!
Kihei Bay Vista is a perfectly fine place to stay on Maui. The bed was comfy, WiFi worked well, it was clean, well priced, and included all the items you might need for a self-catered holiday. Viktoria was very prompt and helpful in answering any questions you may have, including recommendations for places to see/eat.
The only drawback is that while it's across the street from a pretty beach, there really is nothing else within walking distance. As long as you don't mind driving to get anywhere, its a great little apartment. And being on the north end of Kihei (a fun, laid back town, not touristy like Lahaina, or funky, like Paia), its ideally situated to get around the island.
And the sunsets... oh, the sunsets were fabulous!
