Goreme Valley Cave House (previously named Omer’s Place) is one of Goreme’s oldest pensions dating back to the late 80’s, when Turkish tourism had its early beginnings.
We have recently re-established, renamed and restored Omer’s Place into a modern, comfortable, welcoming family- run guest house.
The Goreme Valley Cave House is an exclusive and quaint establishment personally accommodating only 26 people at one time. Our accommodation includes 6 standard rooms (with en-suites), 3 underground cave rooms (with en-suites) and a 6 bed cave dorm room. All the rooms contain wi-fi.
Each room is decorated in the traditional style with carpets, kilims and unique Turkish furniture.
You can enjoy your breakfast every morning looking out at the magnificent views of the Goreme Valley with hot air balloons soaring over you from our beautiful terrace.
Our hotel is located in the heart of Cappadocia, Goreme National Park. It is only a 2 minute walk into the town center and 1 km from the famous Goreme Open air Musesum.
Goreme Valley Cave House is your home away from home during your memorable stay in Capppadocia. Our family are delighted and pleased to welcome you with our Traditional Turkish hospitality.

Valley Cave House room is warm and clean. Ahmet and his brother are very helpful - they provide us with a map and information about Cappadocia region. Ahmet organize a transfer from/to airport and book an exciting balloon flight for us.
Ahmet helped us arrange our tour in Goreme and I had nice talk with him and his brother. Hope I could go back some warm day...
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Family run business. Hospitality was great but that depends if you guys are friendly. The host assisted us on getting information, facilitated all our tour arrangement in Cappadocia without the need to do much research. We are very happy with our stay in Cappadocia. And we would be coming again with our children soon.
Stay at Garome Valley Cave House is simply the best. The house was central of Garome. The owner - Ahmed and his 'Mama' make us feel like thier family. We eat breakfast together and having fun with each other company. Ahmed also very helpfull and fast respond to our request and inquiry. We absolitely recommend Ahmed's place to all who wanna be in Cappadocia.
Ahmet and his family are very hospitable person.
They helped us to create a route and rent air balloon.
Every morning we found continental breakfast covered at the terrace wich you may see on the photo.
Our appartment was very clean. We found there fan, tray with cups, spoons, sugar, tea and coffe, clean white towels and sleepers.
Most of all Ahmet have a funny litle dog! And it is very cool -)
Well, may be one thing that is very specific for Turkey and Goreme particularly is a cold at the January. That is way it is a little bit cool at the appartment but there very warm blankets and heating system ;-)
I Highly recommend this place. Ahmet organized everything we wanted without putting any pressure on us about anything and all for a fair price. Very clean rooms, very comfy beds, very good shower, very tasty breakfast and all in a very warm environment ! We were family of three, slept in a cave room 2 nights and than in a normal room on the second floor another 2 nights; both of the rooms were perfect, and after a day of long walk you can watch some tv channels in english as well ! Goreme was wonderfull even in January and we wanted to stay more days but regretfully had to take our flight ! Thanx Ahmet !
Ahmet is very helpful and super nice. The room was really cozy and comfortable. Sadly, the hot air balloon did not fly because of the snow. Otherwise, it would be a perfect stay in Cappadocia. Furthermore, two restaurants that Ahmet recommended were exceptionally delicious. Do ask him and try them out. Especially the one up in the hill which also provides picking up from the house. And there is a lovely puppy called BAGE as well.
BTW, breakfast was also very yummy:) I will come back again with my parents and I definitely recommend you to stay in Göreme Valley Cave House.
