  • I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights with 2 friends and we had a wonderful time. The apartment was very clean and has lots of social space including a roof terrace. Nathalie was very helpful and quick to respond when we needed to contact her. You can easily walk 5 minutes to get a 10 minute tram into the centre of Amsterdam. I would stay in the same apartment again.

  • I have just returned from a long weekend with my family in Nathalie’s flat which was lovely.
The flat itself is just as you see in the photographs and was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had tea, coffee and welcome drinks on our arrival which was appreciated after quite a lengthy journey, and plenty of “bits” in the cupboard (salt, cooking oil, spices, etc) should we have fancied cooking one evening.
The location is about 10 minutes outside the City Centre but this is easily reached by the tram which stops just across the canal. There is also a well-stocked supermarket nearby that has nearly everything one could want.
The outside terrace is a fantastic addition and when the mornings warm up a little, this would be perfect for having breakfast on!
All in all, a great apartment – definitely recommended

  • We were one couple and three girls, the house was perfect for us. There was enough space for all of us.
The house is clean, nice, really warm (the heating is really fast). In the morning it's full of light. It's full provided, there is everything you need.
It's good connected with the center of Amsterdam and not far.
Nathalie is always available by email, whenever you contact her.
    WE LOVED THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!

  • We spent a very good week at Nathalie's flat.
The place fulfilled all our expectations, it was comfortably furnished in a practical way.
We were there on bussiness trip and we enjoyed the common areas but at the same time we had our own privacy, which we have highly appreciated.
Wi-Fi was running very well also, so we could work afterhours in the house also.
The kitchen was very complete and we have cooked as if we were in our own homes!
We would reccomend this place for sure to other Airbnb members!!!

  • Couples Beware: If you're interested in renting a one-bedroom apartment for the price of a three-bedroom apartment, look no further.

Though in their listing the owners state they are "offering a whole apartment" with three bedrooms, in reality they are only offering a whole apartment with one bedroom if you are renting as a couple.

We arrived to find the bed in the main bedroom set with linens, but the other two bedrooms to have bare mattresses -- no linens, and in fact the linens for these beds were completely removed from the apartment so that we couldn't make the beds ourselves.

When I contacted the owners with a polite request to have the other beds made, Fas said we "booked the apartment as a couple" and that it was a "service" that he sent their cleaning lady to the apartment to put a fitted sheet -- no pillows, no sheets, no blanket -- on the small bedroom's bed.

Note that the default listing price is for 2 people -- you pay extra if there are more -- and that we were not told in advance that we would essentially not have access to two of the three bedrooms; again, the listing says "the whole apartment."

I'm guessing that part of the reason the owners did this is that they suspected we were trying to sneak other guests into the apartment; we most certainly were not, and were very upfront with them before arrival about the purpose of our visit to Amsterdam.

The owners, then, have made the puzzling, draconian decision that all couples must always sleep together, regardless of if one person snores, or if they're sick, or if they are restless, or just want extra space to spread out, a stance which of course is absolutely ridiculous. It also renders the listing inaccurate and somewhat dishonest.

They have also apparently decided that couples must always stay together while in Amsterdam and that they do not need two sets of keys to the apartment. Despite the provided info sheet stating that two sets of keys would be provided -- and we needed them, as my wife was on a business trip and I was not -- we did not find a second set of keys on the kitchen table.

When I emailed the owners to inquire about the missing keys, Nathalie said the cleaning lady would bring a second set of keys "if you wish." The cleaning lady, in fact, only brought 1 of the 2 keys required to access the apartment; when I emailed to ask why only one key was provided, the owners did not bother to respond.

While the apartment is well equipped, furnished, and located, we were very disappointed with the owners' strange behavior in the face of simple requests from two very reasonable people who paid a premium for extra space. If we wanted to rent a one-bedroom apartment, we would have done so at a far cheaper price.

  • This is a fabulous apartment, very comfortable & tastefully decorated. We (3 adults) enjoyed our stay there very much. It is located very close to public transport (trams & buses), and is a great base for exploring & enjoying Amsterdam. We would recommend this apartment highly!
