Although we never met Christie, she was very responsive via text and even gave us recommendations on what to do and where to eat. The room is beautiful, looks exactly like the pictures. We felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel. The view overlooks forsyth park. The home is in walking distance to some of the main streets in Savannah.
Lilly's chambers are just as charming as they appear in the pictures. We arrived after dark, but Christie texted us perfect directions to parking in the back of the house. Christie's sister met us at the door and made sure that we had everything we needed. What an exquisite home! Beautifully decorated, yet with a warm, inviting ambience. The location is just about perfect. The next morning, we enjoyed walking around Forsyth Park and then wandering downtown to the many enticing shops and eateries. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
Wow - absolutely stunning place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and highly recommend this room - it has all the 1890's high ceiling house charm with a big tv, microwave and fridge in the room - huge shower *plus* a bath. Bed was comfy and air conditioning was more than ample, and needed in Savannah! There is coffee, toaster and a breakfast table with chairs by the windows. Well worth researching online and facebook. Just across the street is a very large park with a fragrant garden, fountain with a trumpet player, plenty of dog walking facilities and lots of students jogging and playing soccer. We had a great time exploring River Street and nearby, just lovely.
Christie was out of town but her other mom helped me feel right at home....The room was beautiful and I had a claw foot tub to soak in after walking all day in gorgeous Savannah.
Great house and location. Try the heart of the historic district. The price was 1/2 what we would ha e paid for a hotel in the same area. Will definitely be back to stay in the same room " Lilly's chambers" nice touches.. Even bath beads and salts available, along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Great towels and linens! Comfy bed. Entire house is decorated nicely!
I can't say enough about our stay at Lilly's Chambers! The location was absolutely perfect - a view overlooking the park and close proximity to downtown and River Street just can't be beat. The chambers were so quaint! The view, the bay windows, the architecture...I could go on.
Christie and her sister were so responsive and made sure we had everything we needed once we got there. LOVED the stay!
The home was in a great location. Very easy walk to all the historic areas with a wonderful park across the street. The instructions and check were was easy. Was able to come and go easily and felt at home. I have no complaints and would recommend to anyone. As my first airBnB experience , I found everything to be as described.

About the Host, Christie
Hi! Traveling, music, and the ocean are three things that are near and dear to my heart. It is a blessing to live in such a beautiful city that is great to come home to, and I love sharing our little corner of Savannah with our guests. As a host, I use "the Golden Rule" and try to create an environment that I would want to be in as a guest. Cleanliness and comfort (i.e. nice towels and sheets) are always a priority. We are very flexible and do what we can to make each guest's stay as nice as possible and to make everyone feel at home.
