Just finished up my 2nd stay here and loved it just as much as I did before. A beautiful room and great location to walk anywhere in Historic Savannah. The Sentient Bean coffee shop nearby is also great for breakfast!

The Forsyth Park House was just perfect. It is situated right across from the park and very walkable to River Street and other restaurants and shops. Christie is very prompt and clear with communication, which made finding the house, parking, and check-in super easy. The house is a gorgeous old Victorian home and still maintains its southern character. Christie describes her home well and accurately. My husband and I stayed in Lilly's Chambers; it is a charming, well-equipped suite with a small balcony overlooking the park. The bed, sheets and pillows were very soft & comfortable, there is a mini fridge w/ freezer, microwave, bottle opener and 2 wine glasses in the room, the bathroom area has two sinks with mirrors, a tiled shower, and the clawfoot bathtub was the cherry on top to a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. No details were spared in this suite, and even the linens had a fabulous scent. There are other rooms in the Forsyth Park house that are also rented out to guests but we did not run into or hear any other guests while we were there. We were free to come and go via a key code to the doors (both to the main door and our suite). Right outside our suite was a coffee bar/station fully stocked with coffee, tea, and creamers/sugar/etc. which we thoroughly enjoyed in the morning on our balcony. We loved exploring Savannah's beautiful neighborhoods, walking down to River Street and eating a delicious seafood dinner, and walking through Forsyth Park, which is lined with picturesque Spanish-moss trees. This area is full of history, and if we would've had more time we would have done a horse-drawn carriage tour or a trolley tour to learn more about it. All in all we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through or visiting Savannah! No complaints here!

We spent a lovely four days at Forsyth Park house. The whole house is absolutely beautiful, and our large, commodious bedroom and luxurious bath had a delightful balcony facing Forsyth Park, from which we watched joggers and bikers in the morning and sipped wine in the evening. From Christie's place, we were able to walk to whatever we wanted to see in Savannah. Christie's delightful mom was very kind to us, and offered some great suggestions for restaurants, etc. in Savannah. We've already told several of our friends who are contemplating a trip to the area that they absolutely must stay at Forsyth house! We hated to leave! Sue and Joe

Christie's place was spectacular. The house is beautifully decorated & we were encouraged by Christie to use the living room on the first floor. Our room was decorated with lovely southern antiques which included Victorian chairs in a sitting area overlooking Forsyth Park. We also had our private balcony which we enjoyed for late afternoon cocktails. The location in the historic area was great. It gave us the opportunity to feel like locals. This was the best experience we have had with Airbnb & we have stay in quite a few.

Hi! Traveling, music, and the ocean are three things that are near and dear to my heart. I split my time between St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Savannah. As a host, I use "the Golden Rule" and try to create an environment that I would want to be in as a guest. Cleanliness and comfort (i.e. nice towels and sheets) are always a priority. We are very flexible and do what we can to make each guest's stay as nice as possible and to make everyone feel at home. **Please note that since we have 19 units and allow guests to arrive any time (literally) after 3pm, you will likely show yourself in and may not meet us in person. We are, however, always available if you need us. Thank you!
