Come experience the "Celebration™ Retreat" for your next friends/family or other group gathering! Situated on five breathtaking acres atop a mountain overlooking the Shenandoah Valley/Blue Ridge Mountains, the Celebration™ Retreat is your escape, ideal for getaways ranging from romantic moments to boutique gatherings or girls’ weekends. We will help with a fun wine tour, winery/brewery recommendations, fine dining and much more... just ask. We are located just one mile off I-66 (Linden exit #13).
The retreat and property is equipped with ultra-high speed wireless internet with two 100mbps DSL lines. In addition, the entire property gets excellent cell service.
Enjoy your escape with us in our modern and comfortable country home, which includes our primary large private bedroom suite with California Queen on our upstairs level with your own private bathroom and iHome docking station for your iTouch, iPhone or iPad to charge or play back music. Also included are high speed Internet at 100 mgbs+, flat screen 50” TV, DirecTV™ & DVD system.
For additional guests we have a guest suite that has two full queen beds in a bunk format, and a trundle with a twin mattress that slides out from the bottom. Includes 40" LED TV with DirecTV.
In addition, we have several new couches, two of which turn into full queen sleeper beds in separate living areas on the main living floor ( one in the den and another in the great room with a 75" Smart TV). The house also has multiple air mattresses that are comfortable for larger groups and those extra-extra guests.
We only rent to one family or group at a time; thus, you will never share the Retreat venue or residence with anyone else.
Just under an hour drive from Washington, DC, the property is located in a double gated community, just one mile off I-66 between Linden and Front Royal in beautiful Virginia wine country, surrounded by scenic hiking and biking trails, Civil War sites and outdoor activities, including white water rafting, Skyline Drive National Park, horseback riding, golfing, ATV Adventures, zip lining, wineries, breweries and much more! Other nearby destinations include antique shops, one of America’s last true drive-in theaters and restaurants/lounges, including the five-star Relais et Chateaux and the world-renowned Inn at Little Washington.
Outdoors, we have several fun walking trails onsite to walk yourself or your pet -including our "secret fire pit" located on one of the lighted trails complete with sitting area and multiple hammocks and even a power outlet to charge your phone or plug in your iPhone player for music. We are pet-friendly.*
House comes equipped with 10+ flat screen TVs (all with DirecTV™), a premium California spa/hot tub for 8 to 10 guests, gourmet kitchen, gourmet large outdoor grill with our cool outdoor patio lounge with a 50” outdoor smart TV, multiple LED cubes to create a cool vibe! The outdoor areas include many amenities such as our outdoor gas fire pit, multiple outdoor wood fire pits (small and large), outdoor picnic seating for small to large gatherings, multiple outdoor infrared heaters to keep the chill off at sunset, Italian lighted water fountain in backyard, indoor and outdoor original artwork, and large airy great room with a real wood burning fireplace, whole home sound system and a 75” smart TV.
The entertainment/game room includes a lounge with multiple 60" TVs, a pool table, foosball, air hockey, pinball machines, a popcorn machine and adjoining this room is a separated and mind blowing 88 Speaker THX™ George Lucas Home Cinema with luxury full reclining seats and a 12-foot screen showing movies or your DVD in HD on our Blu-ray player. This spectacular theater also has a PS3 PlayStation with several games already onsite (you can also bring your own Xbox to connect to it).
Note: The Pool table can also double as an additional dining table or buffet table with custom mahogany covers.
For the equestrian enthusiast, there are opportunities to go horseback riding or watch a polo game. On select Saturdays during summer season, designated driver service to the polo matches is available as an option.
For the wine enthusiast, we own exclusive and private limousines, VIP party bus or one of our SUVs to take you on a tour of the area’s wineries, for an additional fee better than you can get from any outside service. (note: outside services prohibited and their is NO UBER in our community)
Special rates available for larger and longer term stays for our groups, especially when not everyone is spending the night (day guests). Please inquire.
For “girlfriends getaway” or bachelorette party weekend, you can setup our air mattresses or unroll your sleeping bags in the included game room and theater spaces downstairs to accommodate the ultimate slumber party. We even have high tech disco party lights throughout the residence to turn the house into a makeshift dance party!
In addition to our glass door Sub-Zero™ refrigerator & state of the art Wolf appliances, we have a backup new refrigerators and freezers and icemaker in the garage and extra coolers for all your extra beverages and food or for use for catering/special events/weddings, etc.
Professional massage table in residence permanently. Masseuse on call and available for nominal fee.
For a romantic getaway, the master suite upstairs is ideal for any couple. We also offer an upgrade opportunity to the Owners Suite w/indoor Jacuzzi tub for 2 and 2 person double headed shower.
We are pet friendly (*we do consider a pet as a extra person, so that fee does apply and respectfully and cleaning fees may apply if your pet damages our carpets).

SAFETY NOTICE: House is equipped with a state of the art centralized alarm system, fire alarm system and carbon monoxide detectors for your safety and protection. We also include a first aid kit, located in the guest bathroom on main living floor and one in the kitchen area, in addition to fire extinguishers throughout.
• Addendum Notice: Our full services guest options for wine related tours, menus, gift shop items, Amerigas propane tank exchange system, guest list, insurance and rare artwork advisory and/or for any of our premium guest add-on options we offer, you will need to fill out the last 3 pages of our detailed welcome kit to return in full when you receive it via email after your reservation is completed online.
Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a full welcome kit from AirBNB email system on behalf of the Celebration Retreat via email automatically with your reservation confirmation that will provide detailed directions, dining and activity recommendations and details on house rules/procedures/entry codes, and some great options to make your stay memorable and fun!
In reference to additional fee's - Airbnb requires that they handle all payments directly related to the accommodation portion of your reservation through the airbnb system so both Hosts and Guests have a peace of mind regarding the safety of their funds. The airbnb payment system is secure. We are notifying our special guests that pricing details for listings are explicitly listed and included on our listing at the time guests submit a reservation request using the green Book It button. The Celebration retreat does have different cleaning event fees for each reservation, based on the length of the stay or number of guests, we are explicitly stating this and our cleaning fees are full service and are the following: Up to 2: $175. Small groups over 2: $200, groups over 4 persons start at $250; Weddings & Special Events start at: $300. Other events may have higher cleaning and service fees based on length of stay, # of guests, events ordered & personal chef services ordered. Once you are booked, we will include this in a special offer resolution price. Holidays and special weekends have surcharges. Weekends in high season have a two night minimum (Friday thru Sunday). Special weekends may have a 3 night minimum. Furthermore, we are here to explain (any additional - beyond cleaning) fees or purchases made from our gift shop are to be paid at check-in or at time of purchase if by mail order. That being said, along with the security deposit for the reservation, per the terms and conditions of airbnb, the cleaning fee is *not eligible* for collection at check-in or check-out, and is required to be included through the reservation payment resolution processing system which is processed using the airbnb secure payment system after your reservation is made in a separate transaction based on your type of event you are holding at the Celebration Retreat (i.e. corporate event, bachelorette outing, weddings, etc.) Wine related tours, excursions with our 3rd party company or other gift shop sales to include but not be limited to wine related gifts/openers, cuban cigars, firestarters, T-shirts, coffee mugs, souvenir wine glasses, gift blankets, Real Housewives gifts, White House T-shirts, the Amerigas Propane tank exchange system for our larger groups/events, any excursions, winery or sightseeing activities will be processed via Connoisseur Wine Programs or events or direct via the regional wineries or breweries.
NOTE: Those guests booking the Celebration Retreat here on airbnb, must be the actual guests staying at the retreat and must be present upon check in. If you are booking and part of a family of the wedding party or a corporate event or DMC this is waived; However, you are ultimately responsible for any of your guests that stay. Guests that are under the age of 30 will require a security deposit. Guests under the age of 25 are subject to a higher risk security deposit and may be subject to pay for one event staff person to be onsite during event times.

Please note that any group at our discretion based on risk factor such as any large groups, weddings and bachelor parties and other similar events designated as higher risk events may require a security deposit and some events will require a onsite event manager.
Interaction with guests
I am a Epicurean travel expert with one of my degrees in Enology (science of winemaking). We set up fun wine tours for our guests. We can provide as much / recommendations as you wish, or none at all. Up to you :)

Our event staff has been recognized from top certification programs to include Condé Nast Traveler & Connoisseur Traveler.
Other things to note
We have our personal chef, bar tenders, event teams, drivers & hospitality staff always on standby & nearby if/when you need them. However please note, staff or owners do not live on site with you during your stay. They are only there to serve you when needed/asked or none at all. All up to you :) Cheers!

We are pet friendly*. (pets are considered family members here and the extra guest fee applies)
One of our Master Suites is upstairs on 3rd floor. Closet inside has extra sheets and plenty of fresh towels for your use during the length of your stay. Feel free to change your sheets anytime. Inside the closet is also a new goose feather down comforter for extra comfort/warmth if you would like to use it. extra pillows and blankets. During the winter season, the queen in the #2 master has a heated mattress pad for your comfort. We keep air mattress's self inflating systems in the master suite upstairs for any extra friends/ last minute guests that stay if you need.
Another guest room #3 accommodates up to 5. Two full queens in a bunk format with a twin trundle.
Guest room #4 has two twin bunk beds that accommodate 4 guests.
Master Suite #1 in the owners wing is upgradable if you would like it, please contact us or refer to your welcome kit.
In addition, the residence has two new very comfortable couches on main floor have two queen sleeper pull outs for extra guests.
Additional new couches downstairs in Entertainment room and new luxury air mattresses for overflow guests in the entertainment WC/Rest room storage area along with extra sheets, goose feather pillows, extra blankets and electric heated blankets for your comfort.
Please admire, however do not touch the rare artwork and sculptures throughout the residence.
Please pick up after yourselves throughout the house, load the dishwasher and return all plates and cooking ware back to their original locations if you use them; including if you use the outdoor picnic tables.
If you move our picnic tables and chairs, please place them back in their original set up position. Trash should be kept in the garage.
Complimentary high speed internet and resident tablet can be used to surf the internet or use APPs to control the residence lights, audio & video. Excellent cell service throughout entire property for all major phone carriers. We have 3 dedicated ultra high speed DSL lines. All 10 TVs are smart televisions.
For Girl friend getaways - recommend you upgrade to get more bed space and the use of the entire downstairs Entertainment area & THX Theater for your slumber party! - bring sleeping bags and/or use one of our many luxury air mattresses throughout the residence - this is most popular choice :)
We have a brand new 8 person hot tub/jacuzzi right off the privacy of the back patio deck for easy entry. Hot towel warmer is located nearby so your towel is nice & toasty when you jump out and over 20 outdoor hospitality heaters.
No Smoking Inside. You may however smoke on the front covered patio or on outside grounds away from the propane tanks and away from propane heaters.
