  • Coming to JFK airport with child and baggage it was important for me to have a place with easy access. Gloria's house is in rather safe neighborhood and straight bus from airport comes very close to the place (it takes 1 hour 30 min). I had to lift my bags only several porch steps up. Gloria's friend opened door, gave me keys and instructions. We met Gloria later and she was nice and welcoming. There were a few young guests, usually busy at work and rather quiet in morning. We had some interesting conversations at nights. There are a few subway lines, we used A train in 15 min-walking distance.

  • Staying here was a great value; the house is located near a subway stop (direct line from JFK airport!) and the futon is comfy. Gloria, the host, was very kind and welcoming, even provided towels, gave me a great dinner recommendation and has a very sweet dog, so I felt comfortable staying here and absolutely would stay here again on a quick trip to New York. Very happy with my first AirBnB experience :)

About
I'm an avid traveler and have been to all but 5 states in the US. My favorite international destinations so far have been South America, West Africa and Cuba. I've been a host to international students for many years and enjoy opening my home to guests. I currently have a space available and I'm looking forward to hosting you! I have a open and peaceful, gay friendly place, a good resting spot for your busy NYC travels. I also have a dog who is young and very playful. The house sleeps 4 and I typically have a full home - I like it that way! Looking forward to meeting you, Gloria
