Our stay with Nick and Judy was excellent. Our room smelled all fresh and clean. After all the trips that we could undertake, it felt always great to come HOME
Nick and Judy are very loving people, their house is a dream house like from a fairy tail. The bed was very comfy, the breakfast simple, healthy and good.
Very good atmosphere. Nice books on the shelves too. An inspiring experience.
We spent two evenings, night and breakfasts (nice homemade poridge) at this natural beautiful place, at the borders of Dartmoor area... And also close to Dartmouth and seaside.. Nick and his wife Judie were relaxing and also attending hosts, caring and - when we wishes - available for good conversation. We recommend it for everyone who is not afraid of dogs and want to be in contact with authentic place and people... Thanx !!! Lotte and Rob
Thank you Nick for hosting us so readily at short notice. We arrived to a comfortable, easy and welcoming home in the countryside. Nick makes a hearty bowl of porridge and he took time to show us swimming spots and woodland walks on the map. I loved the convivial breakfast in the family kitchen, chatting to the Woman Who Planted Trees and her husband from Italy. Well placed to venture out onto Dartmoor or into the leafy Dart Valley from here.
We really enjoyed staying in Nick's lovely country house. Spacious room, delicious breakfasts and of course the beautiful surroundings of the Dartmoor. I recommend this Airbnb address without a doubt. Many thanks again Nick & family for a wonderful time!
Our hosts Judy and Nick were welcoming and friendly. This is a happy and lived in home, in a pretty and secluded area. If you want a traditional starchy B & B then this is not the place for you. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean and we enjoyed our breakfast over good conversation with the family.
We stayed for 2 nights and had a comfortable stay. Nick was a great host and made us feel very welcome. It was also a good location to travel around Devon from.

I am a designer and communications person, I work from home and in London, my wife Judy runs our property. We have two teenage children, Hattie & Donald. On our small organic holding we have horses, ponies, sheep, chickens, ducks, and lots of dogs and cats. We like to live a pretty simple life and enjoy meeting new people from around the world.
We enjoy having guests who appreciate nature and will enjoy the laid back (and somewhat) messy home we live in.
We've really enjoyed being Airbnb hosts - all the guests we've had have been very friendly and a pleasure to have with us.
