We loved our stay at Ambrogio's beautiful apartment. It was roomier than expected and quite charming! It is right above Via de Coronari which is one of the loveliest cobblestone streets. We did not meet Ambrogio but his mother let us in and explained how to use everything. We never turned on the heat, but didn't need to and were quite cozy and warm at night. The only problem we had while there was getting bit by some random mosquitoes that must have somehow gotten into the apartment. It is close to everything and we walked everywhere. The Piazza Navone, the Spanish Steps, Coliseum, Pantheon, even the (email hidden) was a perfect location. My daughter and I loved it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Roma!.
Ambrogio's apartment was amazing. Everything was as it was pictured and he was a very gracious host. The spot was centrally located to all of the major locations and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. We were still able to access the major streets for additional transportation when needed. The next time we are in Rome, we will definitely be trying to stay with Ambrogio.
Stayed here from the 1st to the 4th of February. What a fantastic place to stay. Location location location. The apt is great, very cosy right in the heart of Rome. Everything was within walking distance. The apt was cosy, warm and very quiet at night. Very happy stay.flight want leaving until 22.00 and our host let us stay until then. No extra charge.
Ambrogio is a very nice and helpful guy. His apartment is perfectly located. We felt very comfortable. I can truly recommend it.
The apartment is on the second floor of an ancient house where you can smell the scent of time and history. The interior is very nice, well furnished and complete with everything you can need. It is situated in the city center, a few steps from Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Campo de Fiori. Via dei Coronary is a street full of charme and in the surrounding area there are many restaurants and bars, most touristic, but someone genuinely Roman. Ambrogio is very nice, kind and always ready to give help, information and advice. We have enjoyed very much of our stay and will definitely be back at our next trip to Rome. We recommend it to everyone.
An excellent location. It could hardly be better. A few minute walk to Vatican is handy as there tend to be very long queues unless one comes early. A fantastic gelaterie in the street and a small supermarket. Ambrogio provides a list of places to eat and see - all we tried were very good. The place itself has a character and is comfortable for up to 4 people. Internet worked! (in Italy) it was also fast. I loved sitting by the open widow (second floor) watching people go by. Mind you the street (email hidden) which in Italy means not much traffic. Taxi will take you to the door. Summary - a perfect place in Rome!
My husband and I stayed at Ambrogio's apartment for our honeymoon. We were there for ten days in early September and the apartment was very comfortable. We give it 5 stars for the location and all the amenities included in the price. The apartment is located on a gorgeous, picturesque, and trendy street just a few minutes walk to Paizza Navona, in the heart of the historic district of Rome. The area was great for exploring and was so close to all the important sights. The street was full of great restaurants, cafes, and pizza places. We soon felt like we were home in the apartment. We used the kitchen to make ourselves breakfast and lunch on a few occasions and all the cooking tools and serving ware were there at our disposal. There was a lot of closet space and drawers for clothing in the beautiful wardrobe in the bedroom. The wi-fi works great in the kitchen and living room areas.
The apartment is old and we really appreciated the classic furnishing. The only issue we had was that the floors were not very clean. They could have used a good mopping.
Otherwise, we loved every minute of our stay and although we didn't meet Ambrogio, he sent his colleague who was very attentive and friendly and waited for us even though we arrived late from the airport. Ambrogio kept in contact with us through airnb messages and was very attentive to our needs.
I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
