Tomás's apartment is good located. If you arrive from the airport with Tienda León, the Terminal Madero is not so fare away. By my left I took a taxi from Tomás's apartment for only 22 arg$. By arriving I decided to have a walk.
You will find two metro lines (C and D/green) in a less than 10 minutes walking from the apartment. During my short staying I used the metro only one time because I prefer to have a walk and around my staying I had enough to see.
Tomás is a quiet, but attentive and helpful guy. Every question from me he answered: very quick before arriving and immediately during my staying.
Tomás was a wonderful host. He replies to emails and text messages promptly. He was there when we arrived slightly earlier than the time I had told him, and he helped us plan our daily activities. Breakfast was always tasty and served at the time we requested. Living space is a bit hot in the summer, but it is clean and located in a very convenient place.
A somewhat compact place, but still equipped with all the comforts you could ask for. Owner Tomás really went out of his way to help us out in any way he could (and on top of that he appears to have good tastes in both music and literature). Be aware that the blocks east of the apartment get a bit seedy after dark, and if you arrive from the train station you may want to take a cab, despite the short distance. All in all: recommended!
Tomas is a friendly host with a clean bedroom to share. Respectful of privacy (he stays in the same apt. and we shared a bathroom), Tomas was also very helpful when I had a medical emergency. Highly recommended! 8-)
It was a small but nice place to stay! Good location, close to the Retiro Bus Station. The best thing though was the host, Tomas, who helped us a lot with finding places, booking buses etc, and who was in general very relaxed and friendly.
The sleeping room was a bit warm but the fan made it better.
In general highly recommended!
Recomendo!
Everything really smooth. Thank you very much. Good and prompt communication. Recommended.
This apartment is in a wonderful location for exploring Buenos Aires. It is a small place but you really should be out doing things, anyway. Plus, Tomas is very respectful of your privacy and comfort, so it feels very nice there. He also makes breakfast every morning. What a treat!
