Apartment - Entire home/apt · Rue de Turbigo, Paris, Île-de-France 75002, France

Charming and typical apartment in the heart of Paris, close to many shops, bars and restaurants.
The location is ideal for a cultural stay as you can go by foot to most Parisian monuments.

The Space

Very nice apartment located in the heart of Paris, between the famous neighborhoods of Chatelet les Halles, Marais and Montorgueil. It is cozy, bright and tastefully decorated Scandinavian style. It is a quiet 5th floor apartment (36 m2) with elevator in a beautiful and typical parisian stone building : hardwood floors, moldings, decorative fireplaces (in living room and bedroom).

It includes:
  - A living room (facing the courtyard)
  - Bedroom (overlooking the courtyard)
  - A kitchen
  - A bathroom (with shower) (in the appartment)
  - Separate toilet (in the appartment)
  - An inlet
  - Electric heating

All equipment and comfort are present :
- big bed (1,60m)
- towels
- bed linen
- cutlery and glasses, pans, microwaves, oven...
- LED TV with sound bar
- fridge
- tables & chairs for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner
- sofa for 3 persons
- wardrobe
- ADSL Internet & WiFi

The neighborhood, near the Halles and Beaubourg, is lively (restaurants, bars et pubs) and very commercial (supermarkets, bakery, butchery...). The apartment is closed to Etienne Marcel and Reaumur Sebastopol or Chatelet les Halles stations.

I have the pleasure to welcome you in this beautiful apartment and give you all the places, monuments, restaurants and bars worth visiting in the city.

  • My parents stayed in this flat for their wedding anniversary and they loved it! The flat is beautiful and the location couldn't be better. Daniel was a friendly, informative and easy-to-contact host. Highly recommended.

  • We had a lovely time in Paris and the apartment was a great base in a great location. Daniel was very informative and gave us some great tips.
Defiantly would book the apartment again.

  • It was an excellent visit; we were there for the second time and not much has changed. I give it five stars!

  • We stayed for 3 nights in Daniels appartement; it's perfectly located in the middle of Paris, 200 meters away from the next metrostation Etienne Marcel, near "Les Halles" et "Centre Pompidou", a typical parisien quarter with lots of shops and restaurants, nice streetlife!
We got the key for the app. easily by a neighbor, the app. was clean, very calm, we found everything we needed in there, so we can recommend this appartement higly to those who want to spend some days in the middle of this great city!

  • We had a fantastic experience spending the last few days of our second honeymoon in Daniel's place, which is well-located in the heart of Paris, steps away from shops and restaurants in the Marai district as well as all transportation (Metro, RER). The place is quite, spacious and pristine. Ample sunlight shines in through the window, and the building provokes reminiscence of mansions in classic movies set in Paris -- the grand door, the long hallway. In every major city we travel to, we seek the experience of really being there, rather than just visiting. We have been blessed with choosing Daniel's place as part of our trip in realizing such hope. The apartment is well-equipped -- Wifi, cable TV, kitchenware (whole new boiler!), and even a washer/dryer. We found everything we need to rest comfortably upon returning from a long day's walk around town.

Moreover, Daniel is very attentive and communicative -- sending us messages every now and then making sure that we are well-situated. Because of his thoughtfulness, we feel very at home and well-cared for.

I would recommend Daniel's enchanting place to anyone seeking the true Parisian experience.

  • I had a wonderful time in Paris in Daniel's apartment. Its location really is ideal: close to museums, sights and art galleries without being in the hub of touristy Paris; the Marais is great for shopping, and it is a trendy neighborhood, with plenty of delicious restaurants to choose from. The subway and bus stops are literally 50 meters away, and you will also find a lot of citybikes stations one or two blocks away.
Even though the neighborhood is great for night life, the apartment itself is very calm, luminous, and furnished with simple elegance and taste.
Daniel was very helpful with every one of my requests, and has always gotten right back to me whenever I contacted him. I totally recommend staying at his place in the beautiful Marais!

  • Everything was perfect!

  • Our experience with Daniel's appartment was very positive. Of course, we were aware of the fact that it is not a modern flat, but it is very clean and very calm, not a sound at night! The flat is small, but has everything you need. The flat has a good old-fashioned character. Lovely.
The matress is on an insulation board on the floor, but it is a good bed, big enough for two, we slept very well.
Daniel is a very nice host, responding immediately to messages.
The location is perfect, very central, in a really very lively neighbourhood.
The electric heating works very well, easy to regulate.
The flat is not a hotel, so bring your own toiletries (soap, shampoo, toilet paper), but there was instant powder coffee (very happy with that in the morning!).
Access to the shower is rather narrow, so a bit of regime before your trip is maybe necesssary.
We recommend this appartment for a maximum of 2 persons.

  • We really enjoyed our time in Paris, and this little flat was an important part of it. It's a real gem of a location - if you like walking you can reach large swathes of Paris in 30 - 40 minutes.

The flat was very clean and tidy. A few small things have changed since the photos were taken, for example the TV has been replaced with a slightly smaller version, but it had everything we needed - the ability to cook and eat, lots of plentiful hot water, and although we never tested the heating out we were never cold.

Daniel is an excellent host. He responds to messages very quickly, was extremely efficient organising the key collection, and always ready to answer any queries. We would definitely consider this flat again for a return trip.

  • I cannot say its was a pleasurable experience. The mattress is on the floor and with a large wardrobe filled with the owner's possessions , there was no room to place my clothing or small suitcase. The heating is poor. As the colder months approach you'll freeze the death. The worse part of it was the owner, does not leave soap or basic toiletries in the shower room. There were no glasses or mugs left so you could not even have a glass of water. I would avoid this place. It does not represent value for money and is sub standard.

    Response from Daniel:

Paul is a very negative and not very objective person. He mentioned several negative points which are not always corrects but he did not specify that :
    - he arrived late (around 8.00 pm as check in is 1.00 pm)
    - I quickly answered to all his questions by message, mail and sms.

I would like to specify :
    - there is a wardrobe in the living room. Then it is possible to hang the clothes and put the lugggage down or in the hallway which is very large
    - there is a heater in each room (living room, bedroom, hallway) which are easy to use. They all do work and heat well and no guest has never had any problems with them
    - soap and basic toiletries are appreciable but are not accommodation's main quality. Guests bring generally themselves their own toiletries. If they want to, they ask before coming and I will bring some
    - there were many mugs and glasses, plates, pans, etc. which are all stored in the closet
