We had a lovely stay at the villa with out two daughters. Everyone was very welcoming and the breakfast was perfect. The internet didn't seem to work very well but as soon as we told Ari she got someone to look at it. The villa is slightly further away than what we thought, and in the first day a couple of taxis didn't want to take us back on the meter, but then we had Gusti as our driver and enjoyed being in this oasis.
It was a great pleasure to welcome you. Many thanks for your warm smile and once again sorry for the bad internet connection due to some service from the provider...
Hope you enjoy your stay anyway and we look forward to welcome you or your friends again in our ...."Oasis"
Warms Regards from all of us...
Husband, daughter, our maid and her daughter, and I had a lovely time at Villa Limasan. We stayed here for 3 nights. My 6yo daughter loved the pool and the bed. Everything looked exactly like in the photos. Clean, well-maintained and nicely designed. Miss Arry, Mbok Iluh and Mbak Ida were super nice and helpful.
The downside of the villa for us was the bathroom. Although it was nicely designed, there were no doors that separate the bedroom, the bathroom and the toilet. And unfortunately there was no water sprayer near the toilet either (a crucial thing for Indonesians). But the thing that bugged us the most was the water which came from the shower and the sink. It smells almost like drainage water. So we had to gurgle and wash our faces with drinking water to avoid any health misfortunes.
The rest was good. Location wise is also okay although we do suggest you to rent a car when you stay at Villa Limasan.
Thank you for everything, Peggy! We already recommend Villa Limasan to our curious friends. Please send our warm regards to Miss Arry, Mbok Iluh and Mbak Ida :)
My husband, toddler son, and I had a nice 3-night stay at Villa Limasan. We liked how spacious it is, and the complete facilities. The beds were the best; a full-size King bed, with super soft pillows and bedding.
We loved the villa’s staff, Ibu Idah, Ibu Iluh and Miss Ary. They were always helpful and have such cheery attitude.
The location was not the best—secluded, not in walking distance to main road—but since we had a car, it wasn’t a problem at all. I imagine it would be a problem for someone without transportation. Definitely rent a scooter or a car. However, they seem to realize this, and provide a thick folder filled with take-away menus and in-villa massage services.
Though location is secluded, wifi was reliable.
Because the villa is so open-aired, bugs can be nuisance, especially mosquitoes. The villa provides electric mosquito repellant, but although I plugged two of them in our bedroom, they didn’t help. To keep mossies away from your room completely, you need to spray the room with bug spray, turn on the AC, plug on the electric mossie repellant, AND put on the mosquito nets around your bed. I made the mistake of not spraying and putting on the nets during our first night, and my son woke up with ten bites all over his body.
Overall, Villa Limasan is a nice, spacious villa, with great amenities and amazing staff who clean (and cook breakfast, if requested) everyday, but because it is an open-aired villa, do expect bugs and a bit of puddles on the living space's floor during rainy season.
On the first day of our stay at Villa Limasan, we were picked up from the airport free of charge and welcomed by Ary, the villa manager. Throughout our stay she was always available by sms to answer any question we had.
For two adults and two children, the place is perfect. Nice rooms layout, good beds and good pool. Ida and Iluh were fantastic and very accommodating to help with breakfast. They also cooked us a great seafood bbq and helped out with babysitting.
It was a pleasure to stay at the villa!
The villa is very nice and comfortable, and the staff is very accommodating. The food the staff prepared for us was exceptional. But the location isn't the best. You will need a taxi everytime you leave the villa, it isn't walking distance from pretty much anything except a convinience store near by. So do take the mobility costs into consideration; and if it's high season, also consider the time wasted in bali traffic jams.
Thanks !! Glad you liked the friendliness and service of our staff, they always try their best, specially Ary your villa manager. Even for the food, they will do their best to fulfill your expectation. ;-)
Traffic in Bali for the end of the year is one of the worst, I am agree. It is here the highest season of the year and the Island is full !
Wish you a happy new year 2015
Thanks for a peaceful time in Canggu. It was nice to be out of the hustle of the big towns, although that means you have to get transport everywhere. The accommodation was exactly what we expected and we enjoyed it. Idah and Ilah were lovely and a pleasure to have at the villa doing breakfast and cleaning each day. They also cooked us a dinner and looked after the children so we could go out ourselves. All organisation by Ari was great and helpful. Thanks
This was our first Airbnb booking. We felt very welcomed and the villa was exactly like the posted pictures. It was really cozy and easy to relax there - we loved it.
The villa is a little remote but for us that was a plus.
