Please note all our Retreats are very nice and we take good care of them and are constantly updating them. This house like our other homes is a great place for families and close friends to gather. It is NOT a great place for parties. Houseboats are better for these kinds of events. Not our private homes.
Guest access
You have access to the entire home and property except the garage. We also supply two kayaks and paddle baords. Lots of outside parking for cars, trucks, ATV'S and boats (no RV campers). Enjoy! We will send you a link to a detailed guidebook explaining everything after you book your vacation. Walk to lake and marina from house (distance varies based on lake level). Boat slips are available in the summer from Sugarloaf Marina for $55 on a first come basis. Awesome views from decks and inside house.

IMPORTANT: We are firm on the max number of guests
IMPORTANT ON DOGS: We will allow up to two very well behaved dogs but we do charge $95 per dog. These dogs must be well trained, not puppies and are never let on the furniture or beds. They must never be left alone in the house unless they are crated. Owner must clean up after them. Sorry, no cats.

*IMPORTANT: Distance to water from our house varies from 50 feet (when full) to several hundred yards (when low) depending on lake level. Views from house and access to lake, marina, and boat ramps will vary depending on lake level. Check Lake Level on our website for info and photos or Contact us for the latest status. Although most of our guests still have a great time at any water level, we want to make sure you understand the dynamics of this reservoir. The lake may or may not fill up any given year but we will keep guests posted as we always do and offer a full refund up to 60 days before arrival. Although rare, if the lake drops below 140' down, this starts to impact the availability of local boat ramp and marinas requiring travel to another part of the lake. Again, visit our website for latest info and photos of lake at different levels. Forest Fires are also common in Northern California which may blow smoke in the area during the summer/fall seasons. Sensitive parties or guests with any breathing restraints should avoid visiting Northern California during this period of time. Check our website for current conditions and weather alerts.
