The perfect combination of attentiveness and discretion. We had both rooms, which meant having the top floor of the house for ourselves, including the bathroom. The neighborhood is beautiful and Heather provided a brand new DC guide and lots of information on eating in the neighborhood. The granola bars hit the spot! My bedroom had a collection of books on philosophy displayed in it. Heather also provided toiletries in the bathroom--shower gel, shampoo, etc. Very nice.

My boyfriend and I spent a great weekend at Heather's place! The house is in a lovely area, close to a street market and metro/buses! The house was very clean and Heather provides us with towels and all the necessites for our weekend!! She was very helpful and responsive to my messages. I would definitely recommend her house to everyone who want to visit Washington DC!

Heather's place was really clean, easy to access, and welcoming. It was a short bike ride to The Mall and a quick stop over to Union Station. She was an excellent host and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay in DC.

Heather is an amazing hostess - she made everything from start to finish such a great experience! Super responsive and helpful via communication, and her home is beautiful, organized, and clean! Definitely one of the top 3 airbnbs I've stayed at. Looking forward to coming back!

Heather User ProfileHeather is a superhost.

I am an acupuncturist who has lived in New Hampshire, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Australia and Brazil, and who after quite a number of years here is still surprised to find myself living in Washington DC. I love my Capitol Hill neighborhood because it has a community feel with wide, treelined streets along with the advantages of the city -- metro, shops, restaurants, and parks.
