Heather's place in Capitol Hill is easy to get to if you're relying on public transport and is set in a beautiful neighbourhood. Her home is very comfortable and she made us feel at home and even went out of her way to accomodate us and assist with travel plans. We highly recommend staying with Heather and hope to be back soon!

What a perfect place to stay in DC. Walked to the nearby weekend market (5 minutes), walked to the place from Union station (20 minutes walk). Hung out in Lincoln Park. Ubered down to the Potomac and enjoyed m street and the lovely corneesh. The host is very accommodating and nice. It is peaceful and quiet at night.

The room was clean, cozy, and enough space for two people. The house was about 15 minute walk to the closes subway, and 20 minute to the Capitol . Heather was a great host - friendly, thoughtful and kept an open communication with us. 10/10 would stay here again!

I had a wonderful time! The house was in great location(close to bus stops and metro stations), and the room was comfortable. Heather was very nice, gave me tips about the area, even adjusted the check-in time for me!

Heather was absolutely amazing, very friendly and very knowledgeable of area. From the moment you walk In you feel welcome at her home. Everything you need to know from coffee shops to bike rental stations is already laid out in your comfortable and spacious room. There is a amazing wine bar a block from her home, and many places to run if your looking for some morning cardio. Location, by far is one of the best features. Eastern market which has amazing food and shopping on weekends is write up the street. National mall with all the must see museums in D.C. is less then 2 miles away. This home is a must stay for anybody visiting the D.C. area you wont be disappointed.

Heather User ProfileHeather is a superhost.

I am an acupuncturist who has lived in New Hampshire, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Australia and Brazil, and who after quite a number of years here is still surprised to find myself living in Washington DC. I love my Capitol Hill neighborhood because it has a community feel with wide, treelined streets along with the advantages of the city -- metro, shops, restaurants, and parks.

As a host I'm happy to give you tips as to the best way to get around town and interesting places to go, as well as providing you plenty of privacy. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and at ease in my home.
