This luxury apartment was just completely renovated and was finely decorated with contemporary furniture.
There is a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a living/dining room with a queen size sofa-bed, a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster and Nespresso coffee maker and a nice and quiet patio with outdoor sofas and lots of plants. The apartment is very quiet and bright. The building is really nice and dates back to the XVI century.
The area (Trastevere) is one of the nicest of the centre and it's famous for its fascinating ancient streets and the great choice of traditional restaurants and lively cafes. Supermarkets, groceries, open air market are all at close walking distance. The building is located in Piazza Santa Rufina, a charming square dominated by a medieval bell tower.
The neighbourhood is very safe. It is convenient for public transportation and you would get very quickly and easily everywhere. It is also pleasant to walk to the main sites of interest, as you would cross many nice places in the ancient centre.

It was a lovely apartment in a very busy but fun area/ The apartment was clean and neat and for a first-floor apartment fairly bright and the outdoor area was sweet- we had to cut our stay short by one day and I wish he would credit us for that but otherwise the apartment was nice
Pros: Paolo's apartment is exactly as desribed - clean, spacious and centrally located within the heart of Rome's nightlife. The location is ideal for those who want to walk out their front door and immediately have access to dining, bars and a buzzy nightlife. The apartment is on the ground floor - so no lugging of bags is required. The patio is ideal for a late afternoon rest and is partially covered, which is great if it's raining.
The bed is comfortable but the bathroom is quite small - so head's up if you have any concerns about whom you're sharing it with.
Cons: It's mosquito season in Italy. Given the apartment's proximity to the river, be prepared to get badly bitten unless you spray regularly or invest in an vaporizer with repellant. We spent some time killing mosquitos within the apartment and came home quite bitten.
All in all though, a great place to use as a home base for exploring all of Rome's fabulous treasures.
We were very happy with the neighborhood! Walking distance to many sites and wonderful restaurants and stores nearby. Hosts were very helpful and wonderful.
Arrivederci !!!!
Great location! Very quiet at night and I'm a light sleeper. Everything was perfectly clean and very well appointed. This is an ideal location to walk to all the major visitor sites in Rome. Lots of great shops, restaurants and gelateries nearby.
Paolos Apartment is really nice: Good size, in a very good condition, everything just like it looked on the pictures. The patio is wonderful a great place to have a relaxing bottle of wine. The location just in the heart of Trastevere is wonderful, there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby and you can reach nearly all the most nice places in Rome by foot. The checkin was very easy with no problems at all. Even though we did not meet Paolo in person he responded quick to answers via airbnb and seemed to be a very friendlyh and helpful guy. We highly recommend Paolos apartment and definitely would come back!
Merci Paolo! Martin, Catherine et Juliette
Location was amazing. Nice cafes and shopping close by. Apartment was in perfect condition and moderately spacious. Wifi worked great (the router had to be reset a few times, though). Patio was very nice for afternoons in good weather.
We stayed in this well equipped apartment during the easter week. I can assure the apt is exactly as shown on the pictures.
No noise from any neighbors nor outside life.
As we´ve been in Trastevere earlier we knew this charming neighborhood quite well and knew we would not be disappointed.
You have all kind of cosy restaurants just outside the door and walking distance to all major "must-see"-activities.
When arriving in the evening on a saturday we met a nice girl waiting for us to check us in. No thrills, all went smoothly.
Suddenly one morning we did not have any water. Our host, Isabella, helped us and kept us informed. Within a few hours water returned, leaving us happy again !
We left Trastevere after 8 days with smiles on our faces. Will be glad to stay in this apt in the future when we return to Rome.
I can recommend the place for others.
Be aware though - "big" people will have problems to enter the shower with it´s narrow entrance.
Thank you Isabella and Paolo for contributing to our lovely Easterholiday in
Great location, right in the middle of Trastevere but in a very nice and quit cornerstreet. Kitchen, lounge (in and out doors) all nice and suitable for short stays.
Bed and bathroom tidy and clean, shower is not suitable for 'big'. People because of it's narrow walk-in.
Conclusion: great stay but still a few tips: toliletpaper is vital and you should provide a few rolls in stead of just one:-)
