I have had wonderful experiences hosting on airbnb, but have had a few past incidents of damage to my property, therefore, I require a deposit (via airbnb) which will be returned in full if there is no damage.
Have fun and enjoy your stay!
The apartment was very spacious and nice furnished. It was clean and had all of the necessary amenities. The wifi was working very well. Elise was abroad when we arrived but her friends showed us the apartment and gave us a lot of tips where to dine and so on. They were really nice and helpful, and so was Elise who checked in on us by email several times during our stay. Great neighborhood with cafes and restaurants. Close to the subway. We would really recommend this apartment.
My partner and I had a wonderful, no stress weekend at Elise's beautiful apartment. Though we didn't have a chance to meet, Elise found a convenient way to get us the keys and provided helpful instructions for our stay. The space is clean, interesting, convenient to public transit, and larger than most in the city. Great host, great stay.
It was very clean and nicely prepared as we arrived. Elise (and her super cute dog) showed us around even though we came with a very late flight. She had written a note telling us exactly how the loft worked - from how to use the shower to how to call for a cab to other things of importance. Apart from this we also had a contact number to her friend who we could ask about anything if we for some reason couldn't get in touch with Elise.
About the neighborhood: we had a great time there and there are many local treasures the restaurant Speedy Romeo on Classon Avenue, the Brooklyn Flea on Sundays by Lafayette and that lovely bagel place on Fulton street are just a few of them.
Elise was an excellent host, and her apartment was ENORMOUS and the perfect spot for a summer Brooklyn weekend. The back patio is delightful, and I spent a morning doing some yoga in the shade and eating breakfast watching the birds. The bed is extremely comfortable, the couch is perfect for napping, the internet fast, the kitchen very well appointed, and the building perfectly silent. Thank you to Elise for sharing her wonderful home with us - we would come back in a heartbeat!
Elise's loft was beautiful and a rare find in this area of Brooklyn. Close to great restaurants, coffee shops and the subway. Lots of open space and tons of natural light, and a private outdoor patio. We were very comfortable during our stay and Elise was very easy to communicate with. We hope to stay there again, as our daughter lives only a few blocks away.
We had a WONDERFUL stay in Elise's loft. It is well-situated near multiple subway lines, a citibike station and numerous restaurants. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and an inspiration design-wise! Elise was easy to get in touch with and incredibly accommodating. I highly recommend her place to anyone visiting New York/Brooklyn!
Elise was an amazingly laid back host of who's place is not only beautiful but in a perfect neighborhood.
She sent me the keys in advance so that we could arrive without having to fumble around upon arrival after a long drive.
She has great taste and the decor to the place is a perfect New York loft as anyone would romanticize. Plus she left us a bottle of wine to boot.
On top of all that, we got caught in the stow storm Hercules and all the highways closed the day we were suppose to (website hidden) a panic I emailed Elise and she said no problem take another night till it's safe to go home.
I'd stay there anytime.
