About this listing
I fiori di napoli b&b is located in the heart of this amazing city, close to the historical centre, few steps from the Royal Palace, the San Carlo Theatre, the Castle Maschio Angioino, Spaccanapoli, the sea , the Pignasecca market. It is well connected with all public transports ( Funicolare, cumana, Underground both lines ). It has four rooms with private bathroom and three rooms with shared bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room, a roof garden, an internet point, free wi fi. The different rooms have all their own colours and a different flower painted on each wall. The breakfast is like the Italian one, it is served in the morning. You may choose between delicious home made cakes, milk, coffee, fruit juice and bread butter and jam. Daily cleaning of the rooms is provided. The towels will be changed every 3 days.
The house is lovely, the room was quite comfortable and the location is brilliant. I had some difficulty finding the place but apart from that it was a great experience. Recommended.
I'm not sure who Manuela is, we were greeted by an older Italian man who spoke no English (which is usually fine). The room and bathroom were both nice, but there is no AC so it was quite warm at night. The B&B is in a very nice central location if you don't mind climbing some stairs to get there.
The only real problem was that the man tried to get me to pay him (after I had already paid on Airbnb), and it was difficult to explain as he didn't speak any English. I showed him my bank statement and the email receipt, and it ended up being alright, but I've never had a host who seemed to not know how Airbnb works.
Nice, clean room in perfect location. Kitchen here too and lots of shops on the street just outside. Manuela also gave some fine restaurant tips for "authentic" and very reasonably priced restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again.
I stayed with Manuela for 13 days. Both rooms I had during my stay were clean and bright. My only comment would be... If you're over 50 and not very fit, stay somewhere else. The climb to the house, then the 3 flights of stairs to the appartment nearly killed me!. I want to mention her handyman Ramon. He was excellent!.:)
I stayed with Manuela for night and she made sure that the stay was most comfortable.
There was a beautiful rooftop terrace and each room has hand painted flowered. The BnB gives a very homely feel.
Manuela is really friendly and was very helpful in providing information about her city. In the eve, as I was tired to step down for dinner, she even ordered a pizza for me :)
In all, very positive experience.
