Ingrid was easy to work with and was helpful in planning my family's trip to Montpellier. She gave good advice when my family had problems with their train tickets, and also offered them a delicious bottle of rosé for their arrival. She was easy to contact. Regarding the apartment, I would agree with previous reviews that the apartment does not have a lot of natural light. As we spent most of our time outside, however, it was okay. The only other issue was that, as my dad and two brothers are tall, the beds in the apartment were a bit of an issue. They were not very long beds, and the couch-bed was really only fit for a very small person. This is, of course, an issue all over Europe, but is something to keep in mind if you are 6 feet tall or so. Otherwise, the apartment is lovely. It looks like the pictures and is modern, clean, and extremely well-situated for all you may wish to do in Montpellier!

The apt was exactly as described in the add. The location is great and it was enough space for 6 ppl for one week. Although it can get a bit noisy at night and as it is on the ground floor there is not too much daylight, we very much enjoyed our stay!!
Ingrid was a fantastic host replying to all my emails promptly and courteously. Her apartment was exactly as presented an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area which is spacious and tastefully decorated. Both bedrooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed just like the rest of the apartment (photos gave us the impression one room was in a basement. Its not.) . The apartment is at street level and Montpellier is a bustling city so do expect foot traffic and the occasional rubbish collection. The streets are narrow and stone so noise does echo. If you are choosing to stay in the Montpellier itself` you will be hard pushed to find a quieter apartment. This apartment is right in the centre, the location could not have been better. Everything is within walking distance. Restaurants, cafes, shopping and historic spots. The tram and Place de la Comedie are just a five minute walk. We visited Ingrid as a family and all 3 generations enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. We look forward to visiting Montpellier again there was so much we didn't even get to see in a week, we look forward to seeing you again Ingrid!
Ingrid was a great host! She met my family and I there right on time, showed us into the unit, gave us some tips, and was even gracious enough to start us off with a few things in the fridge!
The unit is clean and looks just as it does in the pictures. Yes, it can be a bit loud at times, especially since you're on the ground floor, however, this comes with the central location: You can not be in a better location! I absolutely loved the location! There are SO many great bars and restaurants surrounding it that you won't even know where to start! You can walk 4 minutes or 20 minutes and you'll be in a great place. It is a beautiful area for an early morning, mid-day, or late-night stroll. It is in the perfect location in a beautiful city.
Huge thank you to our dear friend, Ingrid. She was most welcoming upon our arrival. If one has any questions don't hesitate in calling or e-mailing her, she's fast to respond. Which I consider huge when traveling abroad.
Our only snag was trying to figure out the 'TRAM' on our first ride. So a hint, if not renting a car, try and verse yourself before arriving so you don't become lost on your way from the airport to Montpellier Historic District.
One truth shared by others, this is not a real quiet spot. Earplugs are helpful. Young, vibrant city, filled with college kids.
But the location being central to everything within walking distance was a priority for us. We did not have a car, so relying on mass transit was easy from this point and you can walk to dinner, grocery, opera, etc., the list goes on and on.
Ingrid's apartment is well stocked with the essentials. Very clean. Oh....Montpellier folks are so kind, that was an amazing experience.
Happy travels to all.
