If you enjoy live music, there’s jazz on Saturdays at a local bar/ restaurant, The Globe. There’s a local Publix supermarket within walking distance. Downtown also has a FREE CORAL GABLES TROLLEY running weekdays from 6:30am to 6pm. It will drop you off at the MetroRail station if you desire to visit downtown Miami, or shopping at upscale Merrick Park. Blocks from my home is a nine hole public golf course, with a café offering breakfast and lunch. There is a local branch library nearby as well.

A 1920’s style hotel with an incredible lobby, and pool area. If you are in town on a Sunday, there are tours of this historic place, including the Al Capone suite, which several US presidents, and other dignitaries have stayed while visiting Miami. There’s also a Sunday brunch that it to be believed. Make reservations in advance, and bring an appetite. Don't miss a photo of the DeSoto Fountain on your way to the Biltmore.

Surprisingly comfortable air mattress in an airy room. Jim and others in the house were very hospitable and friendly. Great host!
He gave me all that I needed. He is a very helpfull person. Coral gables its a good place to stay
Jim is a kind and caring host. He gives all the advise that you want and is really into the airbnb-attitude, i.e. he is not just renting his place to make money.
His house is located in a nice and safe neighborhood. There is not much noise outside so that you can have a good sleep. The air matress is quite comfortable. I stayed for 4 nights and had no difficulties with my back or whatever. Although the house is not a very modern place, it provides everything that one needs. Moreover, it has his own charm due to the wooden furniture and Jim's decoration from travelling around the world.
His two dogs are very nice. And in 4 days I just listened them barking twice; that was not at night.
Jim is the host with the most. From the moment I arrived at his lovely home, he took me under his wing. I got to experience Miami from the inside out and I am so thankful to Jim for that. He knows all the best hidden places. I truly feel like I have a home away from home now. Can't wait for my next visit.
Louie and I enjoyed our stay at Jim's home. The location was perfect, being close to the sights we wanted to see in the Miami area. We were within walking distance of the Biltmore Hotel, the Miracle Mile, and the Venetian Pool. Jim responded quickly to inquiries about availability of his place and emailed us back right away with answers to our questions.
Jim is a great host, very friendly and willing to assist me with questions. The house is very confortable, the location is great.
Thanks very much Jim
I've had an amazing time at Jim's! The room was clean and big, just as in the pictures. I could use the kitchen and spend time in the patio. Jim is a great host, very kind and always ready to help you for everything! I had the chance to spend time with him and his friends and I'm really glad and thankful that I did! Definitely an amazing experience, I really recommend Jim's house!
Ps his dogs are amazing!

I'd describe myself as a person who enjoys both solitude, and the company of others, especially those with a travel bug, and a unique, non-conventional approach to life. I am into fitness, and healthy eating. I love to cook, and enjoy kayaking, bicycling, motorcycles, and live music I have two friendly dogs.
I'm a self employed sales and marketing professional.
I also enjoy reading, some movies, and growing tropical fruit trees - I grow mango, longan, carambola, jackfruit, fig, avocado, and papaya in my yard.
