The room we have to offer is bright, airy and comfortable. It has a kingsize bed and en suite bathroom. Located in the centre of Dublin City, you're no more than 15min from anything. Also read further to find out about our supper clubs!
Our home is a very unique place in Dublin, Myself and partner run a website and food project called 'News of the Curd' our home is a central place for all things food and drink in Dublin, most weeks we host a 3 course meal to the public. If you happen to stay with ourselves on that evening you are more than welcome to partake! We are both very active in the community and very social. Kevin a life time Dublin knows all the spots and sights to make your stay amazing! Our apartment is inside of an older factory it's warm and welcoming. It always smells of good food. The kingsize bed comfortably fits two people! There's a big auld wardrobe for you to keep your stuff and balcony to look over the street. Bed linen and towel provided. LGBT friendly household. You are no more than 10 minutes away from anywhere in the City!
You will have your own private en suite bathroom, access to our sitting room and kitchen, though the kitchen is always a bit busy.
We also live here in the room across the hall, we are both very chatty if you want to chat. With suppers each week we are used to having new people around. If you happen to have a meal you will get to interact with some of the most socially aware people in Dublin, find out whats on and make the most of your stay.
As we are in the centre of Temple Bar, the weekend can be on the noisy side, midweek it's pretty quite, less the few shouters. We live two floors above a nightclub, which depending on what you are used to, can be a little loud, so just incase we can give you a set of ear plugs. Depending on what music the club has on, on a particular night there can be quite a bit of bass
Dublin is great for getting around. You can walk almost anywhere, we are about 30 seconds away from a public bike rental station and about 15 min walk from most major city attractions.

Had a great stay in Dublin, thanks to a nice room at a great location!
You are smack in the middle of Temple Bar district, so you know there is going to be some noise from the clubs below. It didn't keep us awake though, and the owner provided us with earplugs just in case (which we didn't use). Comforable bed (double). Robin and Kevin were very nice, although we didn't get to talk to them a lot, since we were out most of the time. Would visit again!
My experience was as advertised (with a few great extras).
The apartment was easy to get to from the airport. It is located right in the middle of the action of Temple bar. I could get to all of my tours within a 10-15 minute walk. The space was clean and well maintained. On my first night, I stayed out so late that by the time I came home the music from the nearby nightclub was already off. On my second night, I was able to sleep through the music without ear plugs. I am typically a medium to heavy sleeper.
Kevin was very hospitable. Kevin even went above and beyond his duties as a host by helping me map out the second day of my trip and walking me to the car rental company when my tour plans changed unexpectedly. It was also very easy to reach him by phone when I had questions during the day. As advertised, there were a few people over for dinner during my stay. They were all very friendly and this provided a great opportunity for me to learn more about the culture in Dublin.
I have no complaints about my stay.
Kevin is a really friendly host, he gave me the best advice about places where to eat and listen to music, he also has many great stories to tell. He even took me out to breakfast! Robin wasn't there, but she sounds lovely too. The flat is centrally located, so you can walk everywhere. A lovely Dublin experience.
This is a great room right in the heart of, not only Temple Bar district, but everything. It is noisy with the club, but if you are prepared it is no big deal. Robin and Kevin were great hosts. I think this was a great place to stay.
We stayed here in March 2014. The area Temple Bar was lots of tourist stuff and loud bars so if you are looking to really go out in Dublin, this may be a good place. Outside the room is very loud. Directions from host are good and the room is easy to find and right in the middle of things.
Robin's room is a real gem in the city. Its a beautiful old apartment with amazing wood floors and such a cozy room. Robin & Kevin are awesome hosts and into super inspiring projects. Really recommend this place!
Wonderful stay! A tidy room with a big big bed. Comfortable bathroom. Robin and Kevin are great hosts and they recommended us a great restaurant. The house is in the heart of temple bar, in a great location to explore the beautiful sights of Dublin on foot.
Thanks you so much guys!
I loved this apartment, the location is amazing, in Temple Bar, 2 steps from Dublin Castle and the Olympia. A must see! Thank you to Robin and Kevin for their great sense of hospitality and insider advices. A true Dubliner experience.
Great central room with ensuite - location is superb! Kevin and robin were lovely!
Robin and Kevin were very friendly and accomodating... and I only wish I'd had more time to chat over their fantastic range of cook books, pop-up menus and all-things-foodie. Room as advertised, with a good bed. Also as advertised the club below the flat is extremely loud - not a problem on a celebratory weekend when you're out late too, but it would be if you wanted to sleep more sensible hours.
Overall - for a first experience of AIRBNB it was great and I'd do it again.
