About This Listing
My cozy studio apartment consists of one large bedroom that is well decorated and furnished, a nice and well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with both a washing and a drying machine. All in all, it is 30 meters squared, and in a modern building from 2005. The building has some wonderful facilities, including a roof-top filled with sitting spaces, and a nicely designed study-room for the residents.
The apartment is in central Nørrebro, which is the new hip center of Copenhagen, just by much of Copenhagen University. There is nice nightlife just around the corner, and plenty of eating opportunities. It is around 2 km from the center of Copenhagen, a distance that can be covered in 5 minutes on a bus, 5-10 minutes on a bike, or around 20 minutes by foot.
The apartment is ideal for a couple, but seeing as I have an air mattress, it would be possible for up to 3 people to stay over comfortably.
I am a PhD student living in Copenhagen, and am happy to rent out my place while traveling abroad. The place would be completely yours, so please take good care of it :)
Treat the place as your own, clean after yourself, don't smoke, and enjoy!
I've stayed at Niv's place with 2 friends for 2 nights. We've met Niv at our arrival. He was very friendly and showed us arround the building. However, the title of the apartment and the pictures are misleading. We've expected something more modern, i.e. "hip". The center of Copenhagen can easily be reached from the apartment by bike. The shop "Copenhagen Bikeshop" is just arround the corner.
We had a very nice stay at Niv's apartement in Copenhagen. Niv was very friendly and helpful, showed us around the building and gave us advice where to spend the evening well! His apartement is clean and cozy, furthermore close to the city center. Last but not least, the rooftop is magnificent. :) We considers Niv's apartement as absolutely recommendable.
we enjoyed niv's apartment ! especially the rooftop garden because the weather was great.
we didn't meet niv in person because he was abroad at the time, but he was very flexible (we only sent the request 1,5 week beforehand) and he was relaxed and easy about the check out time.
the room doesn't have a couch / living room idea, but since copenhagen has much to offer we didn't really need a couch :)
oh, and the place is easy to reach from the airport, the busstop is right around the corner. and after that you can do everything by bike.
thanks niv !
Staying at Nivs place was very pleasant. The apartment is very good located and the handling with the keys is uncomplicated. The rooftop is great. His room is in a building where mostly students live. However, it is not a hip studio apartment but a student room whereas the common rooftop and library is hip.
About the Host, Niv
While originally from Israel, I have moved to Denmark at the age of 11 with my parents. After spending some years studying at a university in Scotland, I returned to Copenhagen to start my PhD, and that's where I am in life at the moment. Aside to studies, I enjoy drumming, basketball, dystopian fiction, and the odd drink in town with friends.
