Gorgeous home amongst the gumtrees. Kim was very happy to drive us in to town and even met us at the train station with our luggage after a hike. Room was clean and comfortable, house was artistic and secluded and Kim was a great host. Definitely get the breakfast!
Kim was a very friendly and welcoming host. The house and the surroundings were peaceful and quiet and in a wonderful location - close to all the attractions, restaurants etc. We were made to feel very much at home and the room and having the use of our own bathroom was lovely. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kim and her wonderful home for potential guests. This was our first experience with an Airbnb and we were really impressed. Thanks so much Kim - we'll be back to visit :)
Kim picked me up from the train station and immediately I felt like we were friends
We only stayed for just the one evening but Kim was very nice and welcoming in to her home. She really does have a great, peaceful spot close to town and have no hesitation passing on a recommendation.
Kim was a beautifully warm and gracious host and so incredibly considerate of our needs - all arriving at different times and leaving at 6am to do the six foot marathon. There is so much attention to detail from the lovely rooms with snug beds, dozens of different teas to the yummy bubble bath and candles in the big spa bath. Only minutes from Katoomba the house feels right in the middle of the bush and Kim was kind enough to pick me up from the station. Our only mistake was not staying longer and taking more advantage of her culinary skills. We went out for dinner in Leura and wish we had stayed in for a meal by Kim! Will definitely be back.
If you're looking for accommodation in Katoomba, Blue mountains, then look no further. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to you. Its nestled in an idyllic neighbourhood which is quiet and green. Imagine waking up to the crisp scent of eucalyptus, sun rays piercing the foliages, subtle rustling of leaves. Thats what Kim's place is like - Good for the soul.
The house is clean and Kim only provides the top amenities. She provides a breakfast and dinner menu which should definitely be considered because she is a great cook.
The place is 5 minutes drive from Katoomba street (The main street of the town) so no problems at all should you need groceries, shopping or dining. Katoomba has many supermarkets like Target, Woolworths, Coles, Aldi.
Kim was a wonderful hostess. She took time to attend to every detail possible. This can be seen in her beautiful home in a very peaceful, but extremely convenient location to the attractions. The accommodations and the hostess exceeded all our expectations. I especially enjoyed visiting on the porch with Kim and watching the wildlife. Kim goes above and beyond!
I'm a foodie and love to cook, and like to sip on wine whilst preparing a fab meal. I first used Airbnb as a guest, but now I am an Airbnb Host, who also loves to travel.
