Yokomura is a fully renovated traditional Japanese farmhouse built over 150 years ago during the late Edo Period. We offer guests a one of a kind farm to table Bed and Breakfast experience for those looking to experience the Japanese countryside. The space
Officially re-opened in January 2019, Yokomura is a fully renovated traditional Japanese farmhouse in the idyllic countryside of Yamanashi. Just over an hour from central Tokyo by car or train, the village is a world away from the city. The house itself dates back to the late edo period and is around 150 years old. Built using traditional Japanese carpentry techniques, the house has been fully renovated using mostly sustainably harvested, local material. Fully insulated, the house has an open floor plan on the first floor lets guests make use of the expansive space for events and meals with family and friends.

This is a local Japanese village surrounded by nature. It's a short walk to a clear river that you can swim in in the summer, and wild flowers bloom in spring. It is right across the street from a local sushi restaurant and a short walk to a natural hot spring/bath where food is also served.
