Welcome to Ladybug Lodge, set in a lovely, peaceful pine and aspen wood! At 8,400' elevation, enjoy views of stars as well as Denver city lights at night while relaxing in the hot tub. Enjoy watching wildlife while having breakfast on the deck.
This is a full 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, separated from the caretaker apartment in the walk-out basement. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has upgraded appliances, including a dual-fuel range (gas stove, electric ovens). The two bedrooms have extremely comfortable memory foam mattresses, a queen sized one in the master, a full sized one in the second bedroom. There are cots and couches available for additional persons, if needed. Wood burning fireplace in main living room, gas grill on deck. 52" flat screen TV. High speed internet available.
Interaction with Guests
There are cats and dogs on the property, so it would likely be unsuitable for persons with severe allergies. A BlueAir air purifier is available for use by persons with minor allergies.
Caretaker apartment in walk-out basement is completely separate, yet I am usually available to answer any questions or take care of any special requests or needs!
The home is located about 13 miles from Red Rocks Amphitheater, about a 20 minute drive. It is about 45 minutes to downtown Denver, and about 1 hour from the Denver Airport. Plenty of national forest hiking a bit farther to the west!
There are several car services that will provide transportation to and from Red Rocks for concerts.
My sisters and I had a great weekend getaway! The house, setting, location etc....were all perfect. Can't wait to visit again.
The Ladybug Lodge was everything that Lynae described both on the website and through conversation, and more...Her home was a perfect setting for family coming from out of state for Thanksgiving. We all felt "at home" the moment we arrived. The beds were prepared for all 8 of us, the kitchen/dining area were perfect for preparing our thanksgiving dinner. The fireplace, hot tub, grill, and patio added a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all ages. The location was just the right amount of mountain getaway, but close enough to travel back home to Denver. Lynae stopped by to give us a little tour of all of the extra features that we could enjoy. She also has little helpful instructions around the home for various things like the hot tub, fireplace, etc. Great movie collection as well! After researching A LOT of houses to host a thanksgiving family vacation, I am very glad we chose the Ladybug Lodge. The process was simple, straight forward, and the house was every we imagined.
We had a wonderful stay at the Lady Bug Lodge! Lynae was awesome! She had fire wood ready for us and all the amenities and more! The cabin was warm and welcoming! Our trip was great and we would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Lynae!
We really enjoyed our stay at Ladybug Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone. The location is wonderful and provides easy access to Red Rocks, Golden and Evergreen. The house is very nice and extremely well appointed with a great master bedroom, kitchen, living room and deck. We especially enjoyed the top-of-the-line TV and entertainment center. We have stayed at several other places in the area and by far this was the nicest. Lynae is very responsive to any questions and has provided lots of little touches that truly make you feel welcome and at home. We look forward to staying here again!
This house is so dope! I just couldn't get over how well the house was set up everything was labeled and neat printed instructions to almost everything. 10/10 would rent this place again. We stayed with 8 all the extra bed Lynae put out were very comfortable. Don't miss out on this gem.
We loved staying at Lady Bug Lodge. We were with 8 people and Lynae but you mattresses for everyone. Wonderful experience and perfect house!
Lynae showed up shortly after we arrived and gave us the lay of the land, which was helpful. Great place to stay if you are going to a show at Red Rocks.

I grew up near the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and have always loved hiking through the mountains. Being able to live in such a beautiful place at 8,400' elevation in the Rockies is a dream come true!
