Dank hiervoor!
Stop looking, this is the place you need! Especially for families. Krista could not be a better host. She is helpful and thoughtful. She had some toys for our toddler, and even gave us some bread for our first night. The house is lovely, especially clean. It is well situated, close enough to walk to town, yet far enough away to avoid the noise. It was very quiet at night, as we slept soundly in our very comfortable beds, and awoke to have a lovely coffee and watch the bicycle rush hour! We then took a short walk to a lovely bakery suggested by our host. Krista speaks perfect english, and her instructions are also printed in English. For Americans, you need to realise that there are very steep stairs in many of the houses in the Netherlands, and also in this house. If you have a baby, be careful at the top of the stairs! You can open the WC door to block the stairs from little ones...it would be good to find a way to secure it. Also, there are two very small WCs at the home, separate from the bathroom and without sinks. They are NOT for people with weight problems..not alot of room in there! And the bath door is glass. Not a problem to cover with a towel. Krista provides plenty of towels and a rare thing: washcloths! There is bus service right across the canal, which goes into Amsterdam, but we preferred to drive ourselves and pay for parking. Although beware, parking is very expensive! I can not recommend this place more. It was very lovely, restful and quiet; with a very helpful host.
Thank you for leaving such nice review. Just a short addition: with expensive parking you're referring to Amsterdam. There is a parking plan where you can drive to Amsterdam World Trade Center, leave the car there for a small fee and get a free public travel ticket for the day for travelling through the city of Amsterdam. Sorry didn't tell you about this, also since at first you were planning on taking the bus or train. Thank you again and all the best to you and your lovely family. Krista
We had a great time in Haarlem. The house is clean, spacious and well equipped. Our hosts we're incredibly friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again if we found ourselves in Haarlem again! Thank you.
The house is really beautiful. We really enjoined out stay there. Haarlem is a really nice place we loved it more than Amsterdam even we could use the bus in front of our house. The living room
Is really nice and we all loved the little kitchen which had every equipment. I really can recommend krista house, when we needed something she helped us in minutes.
If I come another time to Haarlem I would definitely book her place again :-)
The apartment was really good. We have had a very goood time in Haarlam. Krista was a perfect host. She prepared everything very well. The apartment was clean and nice.

Lovely house, krista was very helpful and even left us a Christmas tree! Haarlem is a nice little town and worth exploring. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality! Laura
Heel aardig.
It was a really beautiful and nice stay for our family! And the house is really very big! Our baby had a first flight and after long way he enjoyed Kristas house so much, that went sleep just on 3 am. He even didnt wanted to see Amsterdam, just told that he will go back to house :)We really liked the house! Thank You very much for nice stay!
