I recently started at Jack's Cottage with my young familyband my parents who were over from New Zealand. We found Pat to be very friendly and welcoming, and gave us plenty of ideas of things to do in the area.
The only let down for us was that the the property was missing some of the amenities listed (TV, internet, dryer) and the dishwasher didn't work. Although none of these were deal breakers and we were out and about most of the time we were there, it still would have been good to know in advance.
In the end we had a really good trip and would recommend Jacks to anyone who would enjoy a quiet getaway.
We stayed for a few days with our two young boys. We all loved it. The house is decorated with Pat's excellent taste and the garden was perfect for the boys to run around in. Pat was very welcoming and gave us some great local area advice. We would love to have stayed longer and will certainly be back.
