We are very sad to say that our cabin was lost to the Creek Fire. We really enjoyed hosting our guests through the years. We hope to rebuild another cabin and be able to offer it to guests that have stayed with us before and new guests that can enjoy our area. We are #mountainstrong and will keep moving forward and looking to the future.

The space
Cedar Springs Mountain Cabin is a comfortable place to relax in a peaceful and secluded area surrounded by pine and cedar trees. Two bedrooms with queen beds and an ottoman that converts to a twin bed make the cabin a comfortable place to sleep 5 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glassware, full size stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and full size refrigerator. There is also a washer and dryer. Four barstools provide a comfortable place for eating at the counter or using your tablet or laptop. The living room has a spacious, comfy couch and a game table. Some games are provided for your enjoyment. There is wireless internet service so you can access your Dish Anywhere, Netflix or Hulu services. The cell phone reception may be a little spotty but you should be able to find a place in the cabin to receive service.

Because of the fire danger, we do not allow outdoor open flames such as a campfire. We do not have a BBQ available but you are welcome to bring a portable charcoal or propane BBQ with you.

The house does not have central heating but there is a baseboard heater in each bedroom and a woodstove. We provide kindling and wood so that you can make a fire to keep the cabin cozy and warm.

We are located at 4,700' elevation. We do have occasional snow in the winter. We will plow the road but it is advisable to contact us for weather conditions and it is advisable to carry chains or have four wheel drive in the winter. This is very important for everyone's safety.

We love living in the Sierra Nevada mountains. We live on the property next to the cabin and have a nursery where we specialize in giant sequoias and grow many other species of high elevation trees. We are so happy to be able to provide our cabin for you to stay in as you explore and enjoy everything these amazing mountains offer.
