Interaction with Guests
The guest house is my living space/apartment. I usually list it when I am traveling, so I will likely leave a key for you or have a friend meet you. (My landlord and her son live in the main house. She is a very nice lady. Our spaces are separate, and we just give each other our privacy.) Of course I always love meeting my guests if I am in town!
This is an amazing, centrally located neighborhood -- in the heart of West Hollywood, but on a safe, QUIET, tree-lined residential street. The neighborhood is near The Grove and Beverly Center and lots of great shopping and restaurants within walking distance, including Laurel Hardware, Rosewood Tavern, the Improv, and Melrose Place. Check out the Swingers Diner just two blocks away, open every day from 6 am until 4 am in case you get hungry at an odd hour after traveling (delivery too). There is also a small natural foods store that opened on Beverly between Laurel and Edinburgh for quick walking distance groceries.
A very short drive will take you to Hollywood and Vine, Arclight cinema, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Roosevelt Hotel and other historic sights, largest Southern Cal. Farmer's Market on Sunday mornings at Ivar and Cahuenga.
Please leave the place as you found it. Groceries are not intended for guests, although you are welcome of course to use the kitchen. Extra towels can be found in the closet (left side). You are welcome to use the patio area in front of the guest house, but please refrain from using the adjacent yard area. No pets or smoking please.
Fantastic place, really clean, quiet and a great location. Excellent communication and helpful, detailed information. Would definitely stay again.
This guest house is a perfect size for one to two people and is in a convenient, safe neighborhood in West Hollywood. We stayed for about a week and the house was in a great central location within LA county for us to explore - easy access to main streets and freeways, and plenty of street parking nearby.
Sarah is both friendly and responsive, and she provided us with any additional details we needed for our stay shortly after it was confirmed. The overall process was very smooth and we had no issues with the house. Would absolutely recommend Sarah and her guest house!
Perfect for one or two people. Nice space for a weekend stay. Sarah is very nice and communicates well. Location is prime for
This was a last-minute booking for me, as my cousin and I came to town for a funeral. Sarah herself was traveling, but she was easy to reach via text and email, and she made every effort to accommodate me and my cousin. Check-in was as simple as could be, and the cottage apartment was fully prepped for guests .... It's a good set-up. The bed is up in a loft, and it's firm and comfortable. The efficient living room / kitchen area downstairs is also comfortable (my cousin slept on the couch), and the apartment was clean. The shower is a little complicated to work, but it's fine once you get it flowing the way you want it. A/C works well (it was 96F outside the day after we arrived), but it takes some extra time and some help from a fan to cool the sleep loft. I love the neighborhood! It's a peaceful street, but you're within walking distance to the Farmers Market and The Grove, and you're especially close to Cantors Deli, thank you very much. I would stay here again, no doubt about it.
Sarah was delightful: warm and welcoming. She was there on my arrival and made sure I had everything I needed. The venue was lovely, quiet, and comfortable.
Sarah was a lovely host and a great communicator. Perfect location and space. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm an actress in LA. I moved here a year and a half ago from New York and furnished my whole space, so everything is still nice and new. I host AirBnB visitors when I'm traveling or visiting family, typically. A little about my travels: I'm heading to Austria and Paris after the new year! (I'll be staying at an AirBnB space in Paris.) I am excited to visit friends and see a new part of the world. I believe deeply in positivity and creativity, and I would like guests who will take good care of my much-loved home.
