3 bedroom 2 bath home in st Matthews / crescent hill area.
The home is well appointed with a large master bedroom with sitting area and updated bathroom (custom tile shower)
Main floor: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, dining room, living room, kitchen, access to patio and deck with hot tub.
The location on Crestmoor & Frankfort is very convenient for all ranges if dining and shopping.
For Derby goers that are not familiar with Louisville: A location 'near' the track is not a good thing. Certain pods downtown are nice, but most people prefer the original st Matthews or the highlands
NO smoking please
No animals(unless tiny.. Might be negotiable)
My colleague and I loved staying in the Hudson's charming home. Every detail is beautifully anticipated and cared for. The sheets are soft, the number of pillows is generous and Glenn was very easy to work with. We found a great BBQ place around the corner as well. I only wish that we would have had more time to explore the area. The house itself could not have been more charming or relaxing.
We were thrilled when we pulled up to the Hudson's home in a quiet neighborhood in Louisville. Glen had left the key and we were able to let ourselves in to what proved a beautiful home with more than enough room for us to enjoy. The Hudson's had left some information about restaurants and local shopping, as well as some post it notes with specific house information. The house is extremely comfortable, well decorated and just a pleasant, relaxing place to be. The bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable and extra linens and towels were provided. The extra touches left by the Hudson's were appreciated and enjoyed; chocolates, water bottles, snacks, etc. I can't say enough about how great it was to stay there and how accommodating the Hudson's were.
My family and I rented this home for the week leading up to my wedding. We arrived and instantly felt like we found a home away from home. It served the perfect purpose of giving us all a place to spend time comfortably together while relaxing for a busy weekend. Felt like all the comforts of staying in your own house with the luxuries of staying in a hotel. I cannot recommend this place enough. Glenn and his wife are perfect hosts.
The location is great for those who enjoy a safe morning jog or stroll. My sisters and I were able to run 1/2 a mile to a near by park which had a great running loop. Quiet and safe neighborhood. About 10-15minutes drive from downtown. LOVED IT!
Glenn was fantastic and his home was adorable! We used his house for my bridesmaids during our wedding weekend and it worked perfectly. His wife left us snacks and toiletries around the house which was so sweet. It was easy to get ahold of him if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this home for your stay in Louisville, you are close to everything!
Great location, great home!! Glenn had everything reasdy for our stay and we were able to stay in touch if we required anything else at all. Highly recommended and would certainly stay again!
Our stay was better than advertised and far exceeded our expectations. The house is charming and well-decorated -- you feel instantly comfortable upon arrival. The rooms were very spacious and well-kept. Our extended family of six adults and one child slept comfortably and had ample room to spread out during the day or congregate on the amazing back screened in patio to share dinner and each other's company in the evenings. Glenn anticipated so many of our needs and had the place stocked with those "little things" you always forget on vacation and desperately need. What stuck us the most is that you could tell that for our hosts, this was not just renting the place out to someone - they were trying to welcome you into their home and their city. We would recommend them to any traveler, and we hope to return, ourselves!
My wife and I live in Louisville. I am an Engineer, she is a Nurse Practitioner. We enjoy the great restaurant selection, parks, and events in the city.
