We spend 2 weeks at Angie property during Special Olympics World Games.
Everything was good and as described on the site. The property have very good location in West Hollywood and close to all important stuff. The house had everything that you need. It will be our choice in next time.
Angie was very responsive both prior to, and during, our stay. The home is in a wonderful location both in terms of walkability to nearby restaurants and shops and being centrally located to drive to sites, hikes, etc. in Los Angeles.
My family and I spent a week in this very pleasant house. It is just as it appears in the pictures- very clean and comfortable. Everything was easy from start to finish. We never met Angie, but all of our communications were pleasant and she was helpful and quick to respond to messages. The neighborhood was nice and safe. We walked to Beverly every morning to have coffee and pastry at Susinna's- I miss it already!
The place was very well situated and spacious. We were happy about the noise level when we slept. We felt safe in the neighborhood and for the most part, parking was not an issue. The pictures were accurate, but there were some drawbacks. The house is part of a duplex that shares a wall with a neighbor. This effects you 2 ways: when they walk on the wood floors you hear them like they are walking down your hallway; the backyard feels like a common space divided by a 3 foot fence. Lastly, the bathroom in the master bedroom has a slight whiff of body oder. We spent most of the time at a conference, so we weren't affect too much by these things but renter beware.
This is a very pleasant apartment in a good location. It is a full–time rental, not someone's home, and that is an important distinction. On the plus side it was spotlessly clean and there wasn't any clutter. The lock box at the front door and automatic light make it easy to get in and out, especially at night. On the con side, it feels a little sparse and lacks some of the niceties of staying in a person's home: washcloths, abundant lighting, plugs for the sinks and tub, condiments in the fridge. While some of the furniture has seen better days (rickety dining chairs, and lots of peeling laminate on the dining table), it is attractively appointed with bold colors, fun artwork, and a mix of IKEA and a vintage pieces.
Angie was always very welcoming and helpful when we needed advice. The house is spacious and very clean and tidy. It had everything we needed. The melrose Ave was right around the corner and it was always pretty easy to find a parking lot close to the house.
It was really a big pleasure to be guests of Angie's house. The house is really huge, comfortable and perfect cleaned! The house is also very well located in Hollywood, with a nice garden. Angie is a nice host; the conversation was easy and prompt, without any problems! We would come back soon!
