Interaction with Guests
I am usually present for the guest's stay, although in the summer we may be away here and there. I enjoy sharing my space and have made many good friends. I have enjoyed a few drink with guests, gone climbing, barbequed with them. It all depends on the timing and the type of guests.
The neighbourhood itself is attractive, safe and quiet, the nearest shopping and restaurants is a 20 minute walk. Our guests have been very happy with the transport resources which quickly whisk them into town in 20 minutes to see all the splendor that Vancouver has to offer.

Amy was an amazing host, she is a really friendly woman and her house is good location from downtown and every thing to do in Vancouver.
I recommend this place without hesitation, I will be back one day for sure.
Amy welcomed my husband & I into her beautiful home with open arms!! Location was great (except waking to & from the train station with 3 suitcases & carry on's - lucky I had my super hero of a husband). Easy to travel into town via train. Shared bathroom was no problem at all. Accommodation was a great price! Amy also let us leave our bags before & after we checked in & out so we could see more of Vancouver! Thank you Amy for being so welcoming. House is spot on with a great host! Would recommend to all! X
Amy personifies hospitality. She opened her door to us and waved at us when we left. In between she made all the effort possibles to accommodate our needs. Amy is a beautiful host!
I had been at Amy's house for 1 month! It was a great experience! The room is cozy, the house located 2 blocks for the skytrain station! Amy is a wonderful host! She makes you feel free at her house! I am extremely recommend Amy's room!
Amy was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and I have nothing to complain about. Thanks a lot for letting us stay.
Amy est une hôte très sympa. La chambre correspondait à la description. La maison de Amy est bien située, proche du métro et à mi chemin entre l'aéroport et le centre ville de Vancouver. Je recommande.

About the Host, Amy
I am a copywriter and internet marketing consultant. I grew up here on the glorious West Coast, and originally hail from the island just off the coast, Vancouver Island, known affectionately by locals as "The Rock".
It's actually a massive island with many sights of it's own, both in the city of Victoria (the capital of British Columbia) and outside in the natural environment, including hiking, climbing, surfing, scuba diving, ski hills, mountain biking - you name it! Vancouver offers a whole lot too!!!
We are a welcoming and open minded family who live simply and appreciate nature. We love sports around here, mine (and my son's) is soccer, which I've played for the past 22 years, rock climbing, golf, etc. If there is one thing my partner will never tire of, it is climbing and pretty much any outdoors activity!
