Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Lara was great. The place was cozy and clean. She was flexible with the check-in and check-out. The cat was very friendly. Lara did mention that the cat could be a bit talkative, but it was fine with me. Overall, it was a very nice experience, and I thank Lara for responding to texts so quickly.

  • Lara's place is awesome, it is located in the safe part of SF. You will fall in love with the cat instantly. She sheds a lot but lint roller is provided. Bathroom and kitchen is nice and clean. Everything necessary is close to the house (washer/dryer, grocery, restaurants, etc). I will definitely come back to Lara's place if I could.

  • Cozy home, a little bit hairy though because of the cat. The pick up of the key was uncomplicated and the apartment is in a great neighborhood with a lot of neat restaurants! Dolores park and Corona Heights (great viewing point) is in walking distance!

  • Flat: Great and cozy flat, with all the necessities included. No TV, although a great sound system was present
Location: Convenient and very safe location in the centre of San Fran, 2 blocks from Alamo square. Grocery store close. Only problem is parking, which is hard to find when coming back late in the evening, but is free.
Host: Lara was very friendly and informative about San Fran. She gave use very valuable advice about the area and where to find things. She was also reachable constantly on her mobile and responded to questions immediately.
Yema: The cat. At first, we were apprehensive, but she turned out to be the best companion one could wish for. We had never had a pet, so did not know how to look after her, but she was amazingly friendly and did not need much looking after at all. She does like sleeping on the couch bed, but we did not mind so much.

  • Lara's studio was clean, comfortable, and convenient! Plenty of delicious food and coffee within walking distance, quiet neighborhood, and free street parking. Lara was accommodating to our schedule and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Her cat was the friendliest pet I have ever encountered but did take a few drinks out of our water cups (put those away after use!)

  • We had a very nice and comfortable stay at Lara's place. Lara gave us excellent advice about the city. She was also very accommodating when we had a delay in arriving. Lara's apartment was comfortable and quiet, walkable to many restaurants, grocery stores, attractions including Golden Gate Park and Alamo Square, and was central to many bus lines to get around the city. Yema was a lovely housecat, we were happy to have her as company! The apartment exceeded my expectations and I will definitely consider for my next visit.

  • Although there was some inconvenience and confusion of receiving the keys to the studio, my stay in Lara's place was wonderful! First of all, Lara was a responsible and friendly owner. She generously allowed my family to use all necessary appliances at home so that we feel totally at ease. We cooked for ourselves, listening to music, and it was just like a cozy home! Second of all, Lara's cat Yema, is a friendly and cute accompany. She talks a lot and loves being with people. For cat lovers, Yema will totally steal your heart! The location of the place is very nice. It is few blocks away from grocery stores, Golden Gate Park, and not far from the Palace of Fine Arts and Japanesetown. Although there is no parking sites, it is very easy to find a parking spot along the streets around the blocks. But worth noting is that there is certain time that parking is not allowed for the purpose of street cleaning, i.e., no parking on Thursday 9-11am on the street in front of Lara's apartment. Overall the stay here was pleasant for my family, total of 4 people.

  • We had a very nice stay at Lara's place. A cozy, clean and comfortable studio with a nice kitchen and bathroom. Yema is the sweetest, cuddliest cat ever. Of course, if you don't like cats or are allergic, this is not the place for you. If you think you don't like cats because you've only known mean or aloof cats, then Yema will change your mind. The only challenge in the neighborhood is parking. Other than that, it's a great neighborhood with caffes, restaurants and shops close by. It felt very safe walking around. If you stay here, you have to try The Mill, a couple of blocks away on Divisadero near Grove, for breakfast! I would definitely consider staying here again during future visits to San Francisco.

  • The location is FANTASTIC, especially if you come with a car (real street parking to be had for the tenacious!). Victorian charm galore, lovely coffee shops and restaurants, breathtaking views, and easy public transport connection everywhere. The place is great; clean, comfortable, and quite spacious for a studio in a major city. Though we haven't met Lara, she seems like a nice person and was good about communication. The only potential drawback is the resident cat. She is very, very sweet and fun to play with, but is quite needy (she whines constantly unless you pet her). She was also very active at night and jumped on our heads several times while we were sleeping.

  • This place is in a great location, minutes away from the city by either car or public transportation. The studio is very cozy and feels like if you were at your own home. If you're an animal lover, the house cat Yema will be there for you to love after a long day in the city. Over all very convenient location, I highly recommend it!
