  • We really enjoyed our one night at Sandi's, she was an excellent host, room was comfortable and breakfast delicious.

  • Sandi gave us a great welcome and had good local knowledge and recommendations on what to do and where to eat in Rotorua. We stayed for one night and our room with ensuite was well suited to our needs. It was roomy enough with a tv, air con, and located at the back next to the heated pool. Sandi makes a scrumptious breakfast and it was the best we had on our trip in NZ.
Thanks for your hospitality, Sandi :)

  • THE BEST!!! Great location, lovely room, magnificent breakfast, and best of all Sandi herself.

  • Unfortunately due to some system complication with AirBNB I was not able to stay with Sandi; however, Sandi was excellent in resolving the double booking issue and was very gracious even though the mistake was on my part.

  • This must have been our best airbnb experience so far. Sandi is a wonderful host, looked after us like a mum would:-) She arranged a cultural Maori night for us and had lots of other great recommendations for us, too. She even offered to do our laundry for us for free! The room we stayed in wasn't the one that was described here but similar and well equipped. The breakfasts just next to the pool were beautiful. Thank you so much, Sandi. If we're ever back in Rotorua, we'd definitely stay again.

  • Lovely room with tea and coffee, TV and a great bathroom. Sandi was a wonderful hostess, arranging for me to attend events and attractions and, as I didn't have a car, she either arranged for the bus to collect me from the door or she or her husband dropped me off and picked me up again. They were both extremely helpful, and I would unhesitatingly recommend the B&B to anyone visiting Rotorua. If you do go, order the 'Sandi Special' breakfast and enjoy!

  • We stayed in a different studio to the one in the photos, but it was a great little space adjoining the heated pool!! Sandi was an absolute gem, full of useful tips about the area and served up a brilliant breakfast! Although to the rear of the property, the studio is close to a main road which could occasionally be heard in the night, but this is more than made up for by Sandi's hospitality and fact that tons of activities are nearby. A great little stay.

  • We enjoyed our stay with Sandi. The room was quirky and charming and the garden and pool are lovely. Sandi is very friendly and helpful. She booked a Maori Cultural Experience evening for us when we arrived. She also gave us good advice about our onward journey. We would highly recommend her place when you are in Rotorua.

  • Sandi's BnB is a bit of an oasis, hidden off a busy road on the outskirts of Rotorua. The room is large and well appointed - with TV, DVD player, heater, air con, fridge etc. - and all very clean. Sandi is the perfect host. She was helpful about what we should do in the town, and even turned down our beds for us before we came back! Her Sandi special breakfast is worthy of a restaurant (and the best breakfast we've had BnBing around NZ). I feel I should mention that there is road noise in the room, and that you do need a car if you're staying here. But a lovely stay awaits!
