Can't say enough good things about Mike's place. Clean, convenient, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and Mike accommodated my diet restrictions. Can't wait to come back.

Mike is an exceptionally kind and welcoming host! He provided great pre-arrival communication, and was there to welcome me when I arrived. His place is large and comfortable, and the bedroom has plenty of room, with a good, solid bed/mattress and plenty of privacy. There is an enormous bathroom, complete with soaking tub and stand-alone shower. It is an exceptional downtown location, and for an added bonus, there is free, off-street parking. You could easily walk to anything in downtown Burlington or UVM, even in January. The next morning, Mike gave me coffee and asked what I'd like for breakfast - and then whipped me up a made-to-order omelette! This is a wonderful place to stay that I would heartily recommend to anyone.

What an outstanding find; Mike's place is beautiful, the location is incredible (right next to Church Street and walking to the harbor), and the room and bathroom are unbelievably luxury. Mike is a wonderful host with excellent recommendations on places to go and see in Burlington; check-in was a breeze and the breakfast in the morning - which he prepares for you - is outstanding. Overall an fabulous stay! Thanks Mike!

Michael User ProfileMichael is a superhost.

I like to host and entertain in my distinctive century-old townhouse. When I travel I seek unique lodging experiences which are comfortable and convenient, and I strive to provide the same. I have visited all corners of the US, a good portion of Europe and East Asia. Meeting a wide-range of people is enjoyable. I enjoy meeting people and have the ability to hold up my end of the conversation in most any situation.

Originally a farm boy from the Midwest, I have been in Vermont for 15 years. I've found many hidden treasures and like to share those with family and friends.

I embrace diversity and inclusion. "Everything in moderation," has been a good life motto for me.
