  • My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Antonia's apartment. It had everything we needed and was in a good location. Antonia was very helpful with the necessary arrangements.

  • Antonia's place was great for my stay. Picking up the keys was super easy and convenient and the apartment itself was clean and plenty spacious.

It was a quick walk to the subway and there was plenty of places to eat in the area. The weather was cool enough to keep the bedroom windows open and the area was quiet that it didn't keep me up at night.

Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area.

  • This was a very comfy apartment in a wonderfully quiet area close to trains and shopping and several Brooklyn attractions. The 2 air conditioners were a real added plus as it got unusually warm during our visit. Everything worked and there were no problems. Great value.

  • This apartment is in a great location. It is very convenient to the Brooklyn Museum, restaurants, the subway and, best of all, the Saturday Farmer's Market. The proximity to Prospect Park is also a positive. It is nicely furnished and meets the needs of the casual traveler. The street is quiet, the apartment is neat and clean. It is a truly pleasant place to stay while spending time in Brooklyn. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to enjoy a pleasant interlude in NYC.

  • We really enjoyed staying at Antonia's apartment! A superb location. It was so easy to walk to the Brooklyn Museum & Botanical Gardens. Many good restaurants in the area, but we especially loved Cheryl's restaurant only half a block down the street. We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

  • Antonia's place was great: good amount of space, child-friendly (we had a 20-month-old with us), warm and cozy in December, great neighborhood, and very convenient to a variety of subway lines (we never had to transfer). The kitchen had a lot of old food in the cupboards and could use a good clean out, but was otherwise very clean.
In other reviews, people had noted that the heating system was too loud and that the bed was uncomfortable. We thought the bed was fine and while the heat was loud, it didn't bug us. It is an old building, and the bathroom door doesn't shut properly.
Antonia always responded quickly to us. We would definitely recommend this spot!

  • Nice location, easy access to train and the museum and botanic garden. Good restaurants closeby too. Apartment was clean, warm, and had everything we needed--including fast wifi. Antonia was very communicative, even arranging a way for us to pick up the keys when we arrived very late at night. Thanks, Antonia!

  • Positives: Location is great. The host was helpful and nice. Check in and out were easy. WiFi was fast. Apartment was clean.

Negatives: The steam heating system in the apartment is VERY loud and kept us up at night. If you have a cold night, better get some ear plugs. The bed was not very comfortable either. The door to the bathroom doesn't shut.

  • The apartment is in a great location & looks just like the pictures. It is (email hidden) to relax in. Antonia was very quick to respond & helpful.

    October 2013
  • Antonia's 1BR was great for the price and in a great part of town near transit and the Brooklyn Museum. Highly recommended if you're looking for a comfortable spot near Prospect Park.

About
I am a holistic self-development and goal achievement coach, and a master metaphysician. I host the Inner Power Hour radio show, serve as Spiritual Director of the Inner Life Society, and am the author of "The Inner Power Workbook." I also organize healing/vision quests to Peru to work with an indigenous shaman; the next one is August 2010. Want to join us? I lived in this apartment for nearly 8 years. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed being able to step right outside my door and into the park, museum or farmers market. I needed more space to do workshops but couldn't bear to let this gem go quite yet. My new place is not far away, so if you're coming alone and want someone to hang with for a night or two, we can get together, schedule permitting.
