Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Stay in our wonderful cabin by the Eyafjordur bay. This newly built wooden cabin has all the comforts of home, plus a hot tub under the Northern Lights and front row seats to the Midnight Sun! Daytrips include whale watching and Mývatn lava fields.

The space
There are two bedrooms with two beds in each and a spare cot. In the living room there is sofa which can be made into a double bed. A well planned kitchen area with fridge and a freezer as well as dish washer. Large windows with stunning views of the fjord and mountains. The bathroom is new with blue mosaic. TV and Wi fi access is available.

Guest access
A large wooden deck surrounds the house, from which there is a superb view of the Midnight Sun. There is free access to the outdoor hot tub, or heitur pottur, on the deck right outside the door, under the stars and the Northern Lights. BBQ grill is available.

Other things to note
There is easy wheelchair access from the car onto the deck and into the house. The car can be parked right outside the house.

The house is situated 20 minutes north of Akureyri, along the west coast of Eyjafjördur. It´s the perfect base for day trips in northern Iceland. Whale watching in Dalvik, Hauganes or Husavik, lava fields and hot springs in Mývatn, Dettifoss waterfall,Ásbyrgi canyon and Siglufjördur fishing village.
