Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We had a lovely stay. The flat is very large, well equipped and done out and nice and central in St Andrews (although St Andrews is so small everywhere is central).
    Alison was responsive and helpful.
    Would happily recommend.

  • We spent about a week at the wonderful two-bedroom apartment over the holidays. It is perfectly located near the center of town, attractions, and everything that was important to our family. A bottle of French wine greeted us and was a pleasant surprise. The Boot Room was a fantastic place for a family. Allison was very easy to deal with through and through. It is one of the best places we have rented yet in our various international travels.

  • The house is comfortable, bright and has a full kitchen where we prepared a whole Thanksgiving meal! Both bathrooms are beautiful! Great big showers, too! Lots of space to hang around the family, nice size rooms. Our stay was just wonderful! The house is also very central, so we walked everywhere. Alison is great to work with, timely in her responses and so nice! We hope to return again next year!

  • The Apartment was very nice, more than big enough for me and my partner, and in a quiet location but not too far from St Andrews Byre theatre.

    November 2013
  • We stayed in the boot room with my brother in law, Milo & and his wife,Hiroko, over from Australia to celebrate his Mothers 90th birthday. We all agreed we would have no hesitation in recommending the boot room to anyone.
    Well equiped, tasteful,central accommodation. Perfect!

  • Very nice place to stay, welcoming, well located, and well equipped. It was a little bit difficult to get in in the first place and our arrival wasn't scheduled with the house keeping. But that got sorted out super fast, and they prepared everything for us. Thank you!

    Response from Alison:

Stephanie, I'm very sorry that the place wasn't in it's usual condition when you arrived, your arrival was scheduled with housekeeping, however for the first time ever they let me down, I'm glad they managed to rectify things quickly. Alison

  • This was my first airbnb experience. It couldn't have been better.
Alison was professional, informative, pleasant and prompt in responding to all of my inquiries. The property was very comfortable, in excellent condition, thoroughly equipped and larger than I expected. The location is perfect for visiting St Andrews. It would be my first choice of places to stay in St Andrews when I return.

  • It was a hassle finding the place but once inside it feels home.

    August 2013
  • The Boot Room was amazing. Pristine condition, very clean and very nice. Location in St Andrews was great, all shops and golf courses were all within a short easy walk. The Boot Room will be my first choice for any future visits to St Andrews.

    August 2013
  • The Boot Room looks even better than the photos. Extremely thoughtful hosts. Great location and wish we could have stayed longer.

Married with one child at home (a little girl called Ellie). I like the company of good friends, I also Rugby, Skiing and Cycling. Favourite holiday destination is France. One of my favourite cities is Paris where I have been many times to watch Scotland play rugby. I like the Marais area the best. As well as France, I love St Andrews and hope you will too.
