My Husband and I are in our Golden Years...
He pensioned from being a lecturer at one of the top Universities in Sulawesi Selatan and has been in retirement since 2010.
Myself on the otherhand, previously held a position of civil servant at a government office before finally taking position as a fulltime mother and household partner to my husband.
Having lived abroad for nearly 10 years in Australia and also working in Social Services as well as managing a Serendipity store, I find myself very comfortable talking to and being around absolute strangers aka making acquaintances with new people.
As a christian, I am also quite active in various church services for the members and community alike.
In our immensely lengthy free time, w both enjoy gardening especially my husband who being of agricultural educational background and profession, never can make it through the day without being in the garden. We live near to our children but find that with their busy schedules, our house has become too "quite" for our liking.
That is why my son, who has used airbnb on his various trips, recommended that the extra space of 2 bedrooms upstairs be put to good use, to add extra income to support our pension, but also put some more zest into our social life.
We can also help to provide with domestic ticketing and car rental upon arrival for our foreign guests.
We both speak english, although you may need to slow down when speaking as we are both in our mid 70s and digesting lengthy sentences may be a challenge at times... oh dear me...
But don't worry no despair, because my son will also help out where needed and he speaks excellent english. You could say, he will be doing the heavy lifting on our behalf.
Who do you think wrote this description of us ;D
If you are of Chinese background and only speak little english, don't worry, there are plenty of great people here who can help you out.
Please feel free to browse the pictures and ask questions and see if our place and services maybe to your acquired taste and needs.
