We enjoyed our time in Rome. The apartment was exactly what we were looking for, perfect for a couple and in a great location: short walk to the colloseum and forum and very close to San Giovanni Metro station. It was clean and well equiped,
Davıd and his brother Anturo were very welcoming and gave me great advice about the local area; restaurants, shopping, attractions.
I would very much recommend this apartment, and would be more than happy to stay there again...
I stayed at David's apartment for a couple of nights. It's great. Clean and I like the location. it's right across the San Giovanni church and in a nice little shopping area. His brother Arturo who manages the apartment was very helpful and gave me some good tips for where to go.
David is an amazing host. He was most accommodating and welcoming. Specially coz my partners very demanding :) he wanted super fast wifi and 24hour air conditioning. David managed to upgrade us into a superior apartment on a higher floor and took care of all our needs.
The location is central. About 2 min walk from S Giovani. Upmarket fashion shops all around. The listing is accurate. You may also like to see his Apt 708 if you are staying for longer.
Arturo his brother picked us up at the airport he has a taxi. He also guided us on nearby places of interest and some restaurants.
This apartment belongs to 2 brothers David and Arturo, who were absolutely wonderful about everything: David despite his broken shoulder wrote me almost every other day asking if everything was OK and if we needed anything. Arturo gave me his cell # and told me to call him any time of day or night if we get lost anywhere in Rome, he would come to our rescue. This is very rare for Airbnb, as usual business is "you give me money, I'll give you keys", and no further communications. I was very touched by attention of both brothers to us, it's always nice to know somebody really cares about you in the foreign city.
The apartment itself has its pros and cons as any apartment is.
- both living room and bedroom are quite large by European standards
- both rooms have tonnes of storage to put your things in (clothes, suitcases, etc.)
-Kitchen is small, but has everything you need: big fridge with a freezer, toaster, microwave (big +), kettle
-Bathroom looks brand new, very clean, has bidet, bathtub and shower with good water pressure. A lot of space to put your toiletries on (+3 shelves)
-Bedroom has a queen size bed with a very nice mattress (not too hard, not too soft).
-Both rooms have central air conditioners (you can turn it off if you don't like it)
-Location is good - only 3 metro stops from Termini (central train station); it's within only 5 in walk to the metro station (St Giovanni). 2 supermarkets are in 15 min walk on Piazza Re di Roma ("Punto" and another one, don't remember the name), open till 8:30 p.m., very convenient.
-The building has a concierge, a wonderful man Vincenzo, who is ready to help you in any problems (he really helped me a lot, when my lost suitcase was delivered without any warning, so I wasn't at home. He accepted it and delivered it right to our apartment)
-The owners offer to drive you to the airport for only 40 Euros, which is a really good deal, it helped me a lot - Arturo drove me there very fast, and we arrived at the airport even earlier than I had to.
-The apartment is in a newer building, and the walls are paper thin. The windows are facing a very busy street Via Appia Nuova, so you can hear street noise even without opening the windows. It didn't really bother me, as I can sleep in any conditions, but my husband is a light sleeper, and he needed to use earplugs all nights we stayed there, as noise doesn't stop even at night.
All in all I highly recommend this apt, you won't regret it.
David's brother was very Nice And gave us lots of information, orientation And show us markets And Good restaurants around rome! we spent a perfect time there And the room was Good for 4! the Wifi was fast And there is a washing machine too. we pobably would stay there again! thank you!
Although we weren't able to meet David, his brother Arturo was more than welcoming! This was our first visiting Rome, and Arturo helped us feel comfortable by offering great suggestions, being extremely kind, and even driving us to the train station at the end of our trip. The apartment itself was just great! It was just a short walk from the bus stop that connects you to all the major sights, and it's in a nice area to walk around to nearby shops and restaurants!
David and his brother Arturo are very nice communicative persons. From the very beginning they were very interested in our needs. Arturo picked us up from the airport and David arranged our transport to the airport when we were leaving. The apartment was ok, everything that was written was thruth. Communication between us and David was brilliant.
We've very enjoyed our stay in Rome.
Thank You David and Arturo.

Amo airbnb.
