The Ile Saint-Louis is 'the center of the center' in Paris, it is one of the two small islands in the Seine river, hosting Notre Dame and other major sites like 'le Saint Chapelle' and the former royal palace now serving as the 'Palais de Justice'.
It is the most expensive part of town in terms of real estate prices because there is no other place in Paris where it feels so romantic, so middle age, so Parisian, so special with all the bridges and the water and the boats and bakeries and cafes and and and.... And you are right between the two great neigbhourhoods Saint Germain and Le Marais. left and right on the other side of the river, reachable in a few hundred meters only.
But you don´t necessarily have to spend the million to buy a nice little apartment here to have a place to stay, you can rent ours by the night for around 0,0002parts of that million. It is completely furnished and equipped with everything a modern traveler needs and would usually find in a good hotel: linen, towels, soap, hairdryer, TV, fast wireless internet ect..
It has a comfortable size of 30m2 (??squarefoot) and has a queen size bed that sleeps two and a pull-out couch for two additional guests.
Linen and towels are provided.
And it has 2! balconies overlooking the Ile-St-Louis!
It is a 5th floor walk up that gives you the nice views.
The kitchen is equipped with an american sized fridge and a convenient washer/dryer combination.
You will also find a work desk and good closet space to hang your suits and dresses.

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Paris at this apartment. If we had any trouble Sarah (Justin's partner) handled it very quickly. The room was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 preteens. The flights of stairs up to the apartment was just part of the Paris experience. It is really close to lots of sights with several bakeries, fruit shops, food markets, ice cream shops, and restaurants within a block or two of the apartment. It is great having a washer/dryer after traveling a couple of weeks in Europe. Pop it in before you go out and it is done when you get back. We would love to come back again on our next trip to Paris! Thank you Justin & Sarah
My girlfriend and I stayed at Justin's place for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. Only issue was the WiFi, which we had trouble accessing, but Justin's partner was attentive in trying to get it sorted out.
Justin and Sara's apartment was the perfect location for our five-day Parisian getaway! The location can't be beat, and the property was as beautiful as it looked in the photos. The trade-off for the location is that the Ile Saint-Louis can be packed with tourists throughout the day, but by the early evening they had mostly cleared out. And once you get through the door the flat and the building itself is an oasis of calm and quiet. Yes, the stairs that other reviewers mentioned are tiresome, even for our young and fit selves, but we chocked it up to having an ever more authentic Parisian experience. If you want to have a few moments where you feel less like a tourist, I highly recommend slipping out first thing in the morning to one of the boulangerie's on the island for fresh, still warm croissants. It's much easier to pretend your a local when you're picking up breakfast in the company of parents walking their children to school and Parisians commuting to work on their bikes.
The flat itself was well outfitted and clean. Sara met us when we arrived and she was very nice and took her time to walk us through the apartment and answer our questions. Besides meeting us upon our arrival, we communicated with her via text and her responses we quick and helpful. We only made breakfast while we were there, but the apartment has everything you need to cook a full meal. Everything else about the flat was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. The only hiccup we had was with the wi-fi. The network was not showing up despite several efforts to restart the connection in the flat. Sara was very responsive and helpful in trouble shooting the problem, but after a couple of unsuccessful attempts to get it to work, we gave up, since we were on vacation and it wasn't essential to have working wi-fi. Fortunately, the large quantity of information on Paris that Sara and Justin provide in the flat made up for our lack of internet access.
Despite the inconvenience of the malfunctioning wi-fi, I highly recommend Sara and Justin and their flat on Ile Saint-Louis. The flat was the perfect complement to our romantic trip to Paris. I can happily say that the flat and our vacation will always be special to us because while we were in Paris my boyfriend and I got engaged!
Wow! What a superbly located appartment. And such a cosy and stylish appartment! I've stayed for 3 nights for work and staying at this place made me forget my hard work :-). I could relax and enjoy the facilities available: a relaxing hot shower, a nice kitchen, a good sofa, a cosy bed and the bose system for playing my own music. Thanks Justin! I would recommend this place (which I already did).
Very nice guest, nice flat and very well-situated !
It was a wonderful little place, very romantic and magical. The location was also perfect: central and very Parisian. Next time in Paris we will definitely contact Justin for our accommodation.
Our experience at the beautiful Seine Island apartment was wonderful. The space was clean, cosy & comfortable. It had two sweet little twin balconies with a view down the street and the corner cafes. We liked the minimalistic decor with a modern flair. We were greeted by our host to make sure all was in order and was graciously left with a bottle of wine to welcome us to Paris. There was a full kitchen, so we enjoyed getting fresh cheese, fruit, yogurt, etc. at the little market a few doors down for a simple breakfast and coffee each morning before venturing out to see the MANY beautiful sights (much of which was within walking distance from our place).
The stairs are not ideal for those with mobility limitations, but my daughter and I appreciate the extra steps to burn off all the amazing and delicious food & wine you'll find in Paris. The stairs were not steep and were well lit. We felt very safe with a locked entrance door and a secondary secure door at the end of the foyer before making your way to the apartment. Overall, we would certainly recommend this apartment as a great choice if you're planning a Paris getaway!

Overall enjoy the place. Was expecting at least a partial view of the Seine river, windows face the opposite (street) direction. Be sure to take your own soap/shampoo. The stairs are killer! I've stayed at a few AirBNBs and this one definitely felt like a rental property vs. someone's cared for apartment.
It's hard to find anything to say when it was all so painless and easy to organise with Justin and Sara.
I'd highly recommend Justin's place anytime, and I will most definitely hope to use it again myself.
Super and interesting location with everything you need. Very professional from start to finish.
