Unfortunately we had to change our plans and did not get to stay with Pamela. Her communication was helpful and we hope she got our text in time to say we would not make it.
We could not have wished for a better start to our Sicily holiday than staying at Pamela's and her family. Despite all the Airbnb advice, we had not printed a map of the area and got lost trying to find Pamela's B&B. We were tired, hot and bothered after a very early Ryanair start and our first experience of Sicilian traffic and being lost around Modica started to dent our mood a little. We phoned Pamela and despite the language barrier, she told us to wait where we were and arrived within 5 min by car and guided us to her place. After that, everything was just bliss: the welcoming drink and snack, the very spacious room, the delicious breakfasts with a variety of pastries and fruit, the discretion they displayed when they thought we wanted to be left alone, the chats we had, all just wonderful. Our only regret was that we didn't share a common language fluently as Pamela is a very interesting lady and we would have loved to talk to her about all sorts.
An unforgettable experience. Thank you Pamela, Miccaela, Cicho and Mum
Pamala and her family were great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is very tranquil, the bed inviting and breakfast is delicious, especially the lemon granita. This is one of the best B&B experiences I've had. Highly recommended.
I had a wonderful stay at Pamela's place. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent - close to everything. Breakfasts were delicious - she even made me homemade granita. I would highly recommend Pamela's place.
Pamela was a great hostess, house is located in a scenic area overlooking a beautiful valley. Great parking area, super clean and nicely done up rooms. Brilliant communication, directions and fast responses to all my queries.
I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a comfortable base to explore Sicily, or anyone simply passing through, needing a bed for a night.
Vivamente consigliata.
