Great studio apartment in Siena. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves. She nicely had some milk and fruit for us, and some other goodies. Very convenient location. Nice bathroom. Over and stovetop worked well. We kept the door open during the day when we were back in the apartment to let more natural lighting in.
Very good location, very nice apartment, small but cosy and has everything you need, everything as described, everything is working properly. Would recommend it to anyone coming to Siena.
We really enjoyed our stay at Adeline's apartment. It's very well equipped, and very cozy. The location is great, right at the start of one of the main streets towards the center of Siena and quite close to the train station too.
This apartment is very small but clean. It provided a good place to stay. We could not get the stove lit so we couldn't make use of the cooking facility. Adeline did provide us with some snacks, coffee, tea and a whole Panatone cake for New Years!
- Lovely host. Lovely location.
- Location is lovely. Surrounded by lots of well renowned local restaurants, and lots of tourist attractions within walking distance.
- Host was very accommodating, very friendly and helpful!
- We didn't need it, but host even provides a laptop (Macintosh) to use if you need to.
- Only downside was the cryptic heating system. For those who stay here I found an online manual for it, which helped make sense of it: (website hidden)
- Finding the place was a little tricky (my bad for not checking with the host before hand, and trying to wing it a little). If you're going in from via Camolia, you'll see "costa Paparoni". Just keep going into it and it will turn into "via Paparoni" at the slight bend in the street.
Stayed Nov/Dec 2013
It was the hottest, longest shower I took in all of Italy.
Great location near bus and train station, walking distance from anywhere in Siena.
Adeline is very nice and received us at the apartment. Wine and fruits were available as well as teas, coffee etc.
Just be carefull with the bed frame.
My wife and I stayed in Siena for 3 weeks and Adeline's little studio apartment had everything we needed for such a long stay. The kitchen is well equipped for both cooking and baking needs. Despite the occasional bit of noise from motorbikes parking in front it is in a great location within the walls of the old city.
Well equipped studio close to the centre of town, didn't meet Adeline but her friend let us in. She kindly provided us with breakfast during our stay which was (website hidden) Our shins also suffered at the hands of the bed frame!
Our stay in Siena was interesting. The apartment was quite small and although we had requested two separate beds we were told when we arrived that the pullout couch is rarely used. I did sleep on the pullout couch which, when opened, took up all the walking room space and it was not very conducive to a good night's sleep. The apartment is a bit noisy as the door opens up right onto the street and sounds like it is across from a school. However we did not spend much time there and thoroughly enjoyed the location as it is very conveniently located in the old town. It was just fine for the 2 nites that we were there. Adeliine was an attentive hostess and it was nice to do a load of laundry while we were there. I would recommend this to any traveler who does not need a ton of space but a place to lay your head after a great day of seeing the sights in a beautiful city.
