Hiroki' place is awesome to live. The room is super clean and his parents are very kind and the breakfast is the best one I have ate during my travel. It's also very easy to access the subways, extremely close to enoshima. I highly highly recommend Hiroki's place.

Best place we have stayed in Japan. Hiro san and his parents are so awesome. The location is only several minutes from the Fujisawa station. It is really convenient!! we felt so sorry to make Hiro san and his father wait for us. We got late for the check-in time and did not contact with Hiro san immediately. Hiro san's father was waiting for me in front of thier house in case we could not find the place. really apprecite for their kindess. And we really enjoy the talk with Hiro's family. Feel like learning so many Japanese culture. The bed in our room was so comfortable and the breakfast was so goooood. The roasted bread was so impressed. We will definitely come back to this place next time when we visit Fujisawa. It is so nice to meet Hiro 's family.

A fantastic place to stay for Golden Week! About a 15 minute walk from Fuijisawa station. We felt completely welcome the moment we stepped in the door and were graciously greeted with tea and a tour of the lovely house. Our room was as expected and as shown on the listing. I loved the breakfast which consisted of tea, yogurt, fruit, bread and salad. Hiro speaks good english and Japanese while his parents speak mainly Japanese. My friend and I were both learning Japanese so we had a great time speaking with both parents during breakfast before starting our day. Hiro gave us a map of the area and recommended train routes for our stay. Nearby is a popular beach/ surfing/ tourist area called Enoshima island. Additionally, there is a neat city called Kamakura a train ride away. We were so lucky to get this house for Golden week and were happy with all the amenities and wonderful hosts. They were so nice! There isn't a whole lot to do in Fujisawa if you are looking for a lot of adventure, but if you venture out by train you can find a good amount to do. Thank you Kaneko family!

Hiro and his family were really awesome! They really make you feel at home, and the breakfast was great! The location of the house was great, pretty close to Fujisawa station. To those who plan to tour around Enoshima-Kamakura area, this place may be a great starting point. You can start from Enoshima and travel all the way to Kamakura via the Enoshima tram.

Location: Hero's place is about 10 min walk from Fujisawa station, and it's very easy to find. First locate the KFC after you get out of the station, then just keep going until you see the bridge at the right hand side. Hire has a detailed video about it, and it's very helpful. It's dark in the neighborhood area, so make sure you can recognize his last name in Kanji to help you locating his place. Greeting/Communication: I know very basic Japanese since I've been watching Japanese drama for more than 10 years. They gave me slippers when I entered the house, and they were very nice and friendly. Hiro was out of town that night, so there's no translation at all. After I settled down, Hiro's mom invited me to have a cup of coffee or tea with them downstairs, so I did. We ended up chatting for 3 hours. Sometimes we needed (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) translator to help, but most of the time we can understand each other. I think it's quite amazing. The following night when Hiro was there, we chatted 2 hours or so again. Then before I leave, I chatted with Hiro's mom and dad for another hour or so. I enjoyed chatting with them, and I actually came back early because I wanted to share with them what I did in Kamarakura that day. Room: Since there was no other guest at that time, Hiro let me use the bigger room even tho I booked the smaller one. They provided me a bathing towel and a small facial towel. There's heater on the wall that you can set the temperature freely to keep you warm, and there's a safe in the room to store your valuables. The room is spacious and I felt very comfortable there. Meal: Hiro's mom prepared delicious breakfasts for me that includes: coffee, water, baked toast, yogurt, and salad. They also invited me for dinner, and the hamburger meat was yummy. Overall: I highly recommend Hiro's place because they'll make you feel like home. Hiro does all the translation, so it's fine if you don't speak any Japanese. I'm already missing them, their fish Kuro chan, and the neighbor's dog Kuri(?) chan... :)

I cannot say enough good things about Hiro-san and his parents. Hiro's parents welcomed us while Hiro was away at work with a wonderful conversation and sweet desserts. Okaasan cooked us a wonderful supper, and Hiro helped us figure out train schedules and places to visit around Fujisawa and Kamakura. My girlfriend was not feeling well, so Hiro and his parents did not hesitate to offer us to stay beyond the check out time so that she could sleep well in the morning. We cannot wait to come back and visit such lovely people again! The room was very clean and welcoming. The house overall is very roomy and well taken care of. The location is also superb, walkable from the station or a short cab ride. But the best thing about staying at Hiro's is the human warmth that you will experience there. Hiro, Okaasan, Ottosan: Domo Arigato Gozaimashta!!
